Has anyone ever heard of the Candy Lady? I saw a game on Steam greenlight that says it is basedd on her. It looks very scary! I guess she steals children by luring them with candy? I looked her up but I'd like to hear any stories you might have heard about her. :confused0068:

I saw that game! I think it is called Witchkin. The Candy Lady story is big in certain parts of Texas, my mom says that my grandma would tell her the story as a warning. Not really sure though if she was warning against eating candy or talking to strangers! It's a really creepy story. I guess there is a real woman who the story is based on. I can't wait to play the game, the trailer looks scary as all get out! And it's based in Texas, so there's that. :th_evil:

Many entities can take whatever form they want so...

...do I believe in the Candy Lady? Yes.

When people start reporting sighting of entities of folklore i.e. Slender Man & such a lot of people simply chalk it up to mass hysteria but I fervently believe these are real entities mimicking popular folklore because that's whats fresh on peoples minds.& the easiest way for them to put people in a state of fear in order to get there foot in the door.
