My name is Niels and I am from The Netherlands. I have a beautiful wife and two wonderful sons.
Many years ago I started to visit the website Ghoststudy.com. I love the paranormal pictures and the story behind the pictures.
I thought the website was no longer active until I discovered ParanormalSoup.com. Luckily this forum is active and I would love to make a positive contribution.
I was always intrigued but also skeptical about the paranormal world. I had some experiences but consider that as coincidence.
When my grandfather died, the cuckoo clock (do you know what that is or is that typical Dutch?) did strange things. When the time was, say 1:00 pm the bird inside the clock came out 10 times, what means it would be 10:00 pm. When it was 2:00 pm the bird inside the clock shown himself the correct two times. This occurred not every day and on different times. This cuckoo clock was from my grandfather and maybe he was playing with us.
My other experience, what convinced me, happened around the passing of my mother. My mother had the disease, pulmonary emphysema.
On a day it went bad and she was taken to hospital. My girlfriend and I were staying in hospital overnight to keep an eye on my mother.
In my mothers mind (lack of oxygen?) the doctors were bad persons and trying to kill her. So she had some panic attacks and we were there to calm her down. When I was to the toilet, my mother said something to my girlfriend. At home my girlfriend asked me what the number eleven means to my mother, she said that repeatedly to my girlfriend. I had no clue and thought it was the lack of oxygen.
The next day the hospital said they couldn't do anything for my mother and advised us to transfer her to a hospital specific for lung diseases.
My father, sister and I agreed, and the day after she was transferred to the other hospital. When we arrived and visited my mother I got the chills!
The number of my mother's bed was....11. She passed away on that same bed the next day. I think she had a vision or something and she knew that her end was near.
So, yes I believe there is more than we can see!

I love cuckoo clocks, my aunt use to have one, and I would sit and wait for the little bird to come out. Lol, I was like 4, and I thought the little bird had like little furniture in there.
