Have fun with this one.  ^_^  .......Personally, I just want to make sure it's not an app.

Taken of my 9-year-old daughter who is clairvoyant and has the ability to see and communicate with ghosts and spirits. She has had this gift since birth. This picture was supposed to just be of her making bubbles but a man’s face showed up in the bubble. Also, some say there are some ghost images seen in the bushes. .....Lisa, Concord, Ca

The bubble face looks to me to be  reflections from the surrounding area and the faces in the bushes are caused by motion blur and pareidolia.

Well, the bushes are blurred, so pareidolia. And like Mac said, that's common with bubbles, along with the rainbow colors. Nothing unusual here IMO

I'm glad you guys aren't the one's that responded to her email.  ;)

So are you two saying that the face is reflections no matter what? No chance at all that it could be a supernatural occurrence?    Just curious how you know for sure, if that's the case?

I REALLY doubt it's paranormal. Soap bubbles always have movement on the surface, so they are constantly reflecting what's around them. To my eyes it looks nothing like a face. I know she said her daughter has a gift, but aside from that, why would one think it could be paranormal?

It could be they are trying to find validation for what they claim are their daughter's gifts

Jim, I can clearly see the sky, trees, and bushes reflected in the bubble. Also, I agree with Vlawde, the surface of bubbles swirl around, which causes pareidolia. Also, the photo has been run through software editors.

Okay... points for bubble reflections.  :)

It's funny, I guess I'm very much a different breed of ghost hunter... but the picture makes me want to run out and make big bubbles in haunted locations.  ;)  Oh, and have the camera ready for lot's of pics! ....I just don't want to always give in and not consider all angles.

I feel like everything should be tried, just in case.   ;  )

To me, I'm definitely seeing a face with a pointy nose. So much so, I was wondering if a cellphone app was used.

To me it looks like the front end of a car. Older, 80ís Monte Carlo/Cutlass Supreme type of car. White. Funny how the brain sees things.

Mac once again you're right on the money.

It's most definitely a reflection of the landscape in front of the bubble.

A fine example of the reflective properties can be found here.

Sometimes the overpowering belief in the paranormal clouds logical thought.

It is amazing what can be seen in curved, transparent objects. I can generally see what is going on behind me, because of reflections in my eyeglasses, thus it makes it very hard to sneak up on me.

It looks like the mask from Phantom of the Opera to me, likely an illusion though.

Yes it does look similar to Phantom of the Opera.

Yes, I agree... it does look similar to the Phantom of the Opera mask.

And yes the odds are high that it's an illusion.
