Over a decade ago, I was the EVP specialist for a local CT Group called NEPVRG (New England Paranormal Video Research Group). Like many other teams, they dissolved after a few years but I was fortunate be part of several historical investigations within the state.

This image was submitted to the team by a student of a local university. I have included the original as well as a crop of the area in question found in the window.

I'll reserve my opinion for now. Your opinions are valued. Opinions for or against the possibility of the unknown is welcome. Elaborating is beneficial to everyone. I'll reserve my own analysis once again at the end.

Because there's so much motion blur, I would have to say it's Pareidolia creating an illusion of a figure. I can also see many figures within the bulk of the two trees as well. There is what appears to be a branch leading up to and above the figure. So my final answer would be that the figure is actually made up of leaves and the blur gives the impression of a figure.

I think it is a leaf as well. It's on the outside of the building and has the same structure/texture as the leafs from the tree.
Together with some imagination (pareidolia,)and you have this. ow, and i see it's a big leave.. it goes further to the right. you can see the outline of it on the windowpost.
That's my opinion :-)
Sometimes I pretend to be normal...but it gets boring..so I go back to being me.Posted Image

I fully agree this is a product of camera shake/motion blur with even a possibility of the subject matter being blown by a slight breeze. I see this as a small branch of the tree containing a single leaf aligning in the view of the window. I'm unsure of the origin of the camera but clearly it was an image made after dusk and the shutter was dragged to compensate for the lack of light.

Thank you Jim, Vlawde, Klainey and Essie for commenting and extending the explanation.

I've enhanced that section of the house, and I agree with the others, it looks like a couple of leaves and a small branch coming from the tree.

I was about to say that. A small, spindly branch with a dry leaf or two hanging downward, making the "woman in window" illusion.

Looks like that to me as well.  While it's very possible that it IS just pareidolia, I see a woman in a gray dress with a white apron over it and a white maid's cap on her head.

I looked at the leaves and the leaves in the foreground look light because of a light source, and the leaves toward the top and right of the photo look dark.  The "figure", if it was created by leaves, should have been dark because the leaves by it are dark, but IF it's leaves, they are light.  It looks like it's in the wrong part of the photo for the leaves to appear light, if that makes any sense.
