I've been seeing this starlike spark in the night sky and i know it can't be a star cause its too low to be a star.

It's reddish and its a lot brighter than all the other stars....
Anyone has an idea whats going on please do share.

Is it in the west?  I thought Mars at first but Venus is lower in the sky right now.

No its on the east and its way to close to be a planet, anyway planets dont shine like stars.
Whats confusing is sometimes you see it almost on the horizon and it gets really close to the moon,....i cant help but wonder if the sun's twin thing is true or that Nibiru conspiracy.

Plus the fact that we gettin earthquakes and cyclones now just adds to all of this.

Right now Venus is the brightest object in the western sky, and it does look like a big star.

It could be Sirius, Jupiter, Venus or Antares in the southeast.

I'm seeing it every night lately and it's much brighter than any star that I have ever seen. And there have been times after midnight when I have checked and it's no longer there.
I'm by Sacramento, CA

Need more details. What time of night do you see it ... do you see it all night or just briefly, and for how long ... is it always visible or just at certain times of the year ... what is the exact direction ... what is its elevation off the horizon ... does it move in the same direction and same pace as the stars ... check a star chart and compare its brightness to the brightest star you can see. You need to be very precise to get info on something like this that we can't see ourselves.

There is no way to tell how big a point of light is in the sky, or how far away it is. Planets do shine like stars, but they don't twinkle like stars do unless they are close to the horizon. Stars and some planets can be visible at any height in the sky and can be seen setting or rising at the horizon no problem, as long as you have a clear, distant horizon. Venus and Mercury stay near the horizon because they are closer to the sun than we are. As has been mentioned there are a couple orange-reddish stars near the horizon at your spot in the evening sky, plus the cream colored planet Saturn. The moon will pass relatively close to the planets in the sky because it follows the same path, the ecliptic. It will pass them regularly each month though as it appears to move faster than the planets. There is no second sun so don't worry yourself about that. There is no way to hide something like that.

This one is not a star. It's high but apparently not above the clouds and extremely bright. It's clear even when it's cloudy. I saw it one night last week while in town and when I got home, it moved. And by the time I got out of my car and looked again, it was gone. Tonight it's to the east and not west like it usually is. But it usually disappears by 2 am until the next night.

We also have huge drones at times in the sky that stay stationary all night. Haven't seen them lately though. I have heard they are from the Air Force base and are doing surveillance. We have a huge group of people here (immigrants) that they watch closely.

I suppose they would have to be... and have the ability to stay stationary for many hours at a time.

The drones here are the size of aircraft or maybe even much larger. And sometime during the early morning hours they can move or leave all together. And there are two different types of them. The type that appear lately, look like stars but appear larger than normal stars. And they have the ability to move around at times. But what's most impressive, is the fact that they can stay stationary for long periods of time, even all night if need be.

The government seems to have some type of special technology if it's how I'm seeing things.

Something explainable? And not super drones? Maybe so... I'm simply posting my observations as I see them. I'm certainly no expert.

I just wanna mention, that when people think of drones now, they think of those little dinky things you get at the store. Military drones are way bigger and are more high tech than the civilian ones. They most likely can stay in one place longer due to better fuel supply. I think as long as you are not doing anything illegal, you should be fine.
Do whatever makes you happy, whatever fruits your loops.
