Am I the only one reminded of a Jason mask sold during Halloween?  Giving the photographer the benefit of the doubt and considering that the photograph was taken not long after the holidays wrapped up, could this potentially be an outside decoration that was forgotten outside?

Since it looks like an old lady, perhaps a "Witch" decoration.

My guess is that it's one of those V for Vendetta masks, and that it's hanging near an opened window, moving due to a slight breeze.

Hmmmmm....could be. We need to ask this guy if he owns any Halloween decor involving anything that looks like Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers, Jigsaw, an old witch or Guy Fawkes.

It looks too much like a live person to me... I don't think it's real.

I agree with anyone who said the first one looks like Michael Myers and the second one Jigsaw.  I thought the same straight away.  I can't really add anything anybody hasn't said already except maybe if the guy thought he was completely alone he maybe a has a friend with a mean streak trying to freak him out.  Certainly would freak me out!  I don't want Michael Myers or Jigsaw peeping in through my window!!!  :confused0068:

It isn't v for vendetta, micheal myers, saw, batman, spiderman, wicked witch of the east etc ...

This forum is ridiculous if people are going as far as to assume it is a v for vendetta mask placed on an open window swaying slightly in a breeze? lol

These are awesome and I believe the are real. They have what I call the common denominator. The colored mist or particle or whatever you want to call it. Purple is the main I've noticed in pics!!

Its either a person on the other side of the window or a great ghost capture!

Yup... I would tend to agree...one or the other.  ;)

Here lies the problem with tthe abundance of pixel level editors like Photoshop. It's just way to easy passing off images. I'm not suggesting the original was by any means but it is worth the pondering.

I removed the face/mask with a black brush.

Posted Image

Found this mask on the net.

Posted Image

I inserted the mask as a layer in Photoshop

Filter>Pixelate>Moasic
Filter>Blur>Motion Blur
Filter>Blur>Gausian Blur
Then reduced the opacity, positioned and transformed to imitate the original.

Posted Image

It's not a perfect replica but this was done in a matter of a minute.

Here is the originally posted image for comparison.

Very true EVP it is hard to know sometimes if an image has been manipulated. That is why I like to ask the OP if anything else had happened and what was going on in the image  Unfortunately, sometimes that doesn't always help either

Here's the above photo after cleaning it up a bit. And next to it, the original closeup.

I'm not seeing a mask but I'm thinking a face is evident......... I'm still wondering if someone might have been outside looking in?

Thanks for the enlarged version Jim. I wish I wasn't poisoned so much with images with claims of the supernatural. I do believe there are things out there that are unexplained but trickery, manipulation let alone low resolution images make it a very tough call.

Thanks for the explanation Klainey. I appreciate you try to go those extra steps for validation. That makes for much more credible evaluation.

Could it be a reflection in a TV, mirror or window  from someone sitting directly behind him ?

Hers the original lightened and one with the out line of the chair the person is sitting in behind him.

The way the "face" is in different positions makes me think that it's either a reflection of whatever is on his screen (Skype/video call maybe?) or an actual person outside. Maybe trying to make themselves visible in his screen and freak him out. Hard to say. I CAN see a face in the pics, just not convinced it's anything paranormal.

It looks quite visible as a face, and I think it looks like a woman's face rather than a mask - maybe it is something reflected from the screen?

I'm with Tarinya. To me it doesn't even look like a face...just an illusion of one

I don't think Tarinya mentioned in her post that it "doesn't even look like a face". To me, that's all it looks like... whether it's a persons reflection, real person outside or a ghost.
