It sounds like something that should be included in the next block buster horror movie.

FYI it's pretty tough to turn the little knobs and you should expect a few quarter inch lines from temperature variations BUT I think it's a great idea PLUS they are still cool toys

I'm not referring to the knobs, I see no reason why they couldn't manipulate the aluminum powder directly without even having to move the knobs.

I believe static cling is how the aluminum beads adhere to the surface of the screen but don't quote me on that I'm not 100% sure.

If you think they do some kind of static thing why not just get a piece of 3mil plastic sheet and sprinkle some graphite or talc on it and see what you get. I just thought you were going for the toy angle.

The inside surface of the glass screen is coated with
aluminum powderthat is mixed with tiny beads that aid the coating process. In theory a spirit could and shouid be able to manipulate it, I think I might just give it a shot in a couple minutes and see how it go's I've had really good luck with triger objects and the spirits in my house have gotten use to it so it should work just got to find the etch-a-scetch and dig it out.

It's an interesting thought but going by the emphasis that activity is based upon magnetic fields, aluminum powder wouldn't be a working conduit.

I have seen a Spirograph used though. The group in question hooked up a rig to hold a felt-tip pen up in a spirograph pattern former on a piece of paper. They left it all night in a closed room with previously reported activity and skipped that area during their investigation. When they went back to retrieve it, they had a partial pattern drawn. The only thing that let them down, and a lesson they learnt the hard way, I rebuked their evidence as they failed to lock a camcorder off on the area which is something they really should have done. Would have made some fantastic evidence......

Oh dear the spirograph thing sounds really cool but yes, easily rebuked isn't it if there's no evidence of it being a proper, isolated test.
