Now I know for a fact I never took this pic, I've never taken a selfie in my entire life & no one else has access to my phone but there it was.
I can see this was taken in my room from on top of my bed by the curtain & ledge in the back ground & I can see what appears to be my blanket over it's shoulders but it looks like The Ripley/Xeno Hybrid from Alien Resurrection.
I considered this to be a omen of death but well see.

I do wonder though, what would cause a picture to turn out so blue?

I'm not seeing a face or anything. Looks like the photo was taken by accident while moving. So motion blur and poor lighting.

That's always possible, I just can't imagine how I would have done that by accident.
Another detail I failed to mention is it was dated February something but I'd didn't even notice it till late April & I'd been through my photos many times in between those dates.
Maybe I just overlooked it since I was only looking for specific pictures I knew were there.

It very well could be motion blur... and probably is. But that shouldn't be the last word. And I do see what appears to be a face.
Cool capture!

It's quite easy to take photos by accident, I do it often.

I also believe it to be motion blur and bad lighting. And the face you're seeing is pareodolia.

This is my son's post. I think when you look at the smaller picture, it looks like a skull face. When I see it now in a blown up version, it resembles an old man. We live on a reservation and have an over hundred year old Native American grave yard in the woods directly behind my house. I think it could be a elder Native. My son has seen solid black things move around in the house.

I agree that it looks like a beautiful elderly man. But the change of this being a picture taken by accident is very big. I do that often. But i never got a picture that resembles a face. Only stripes. With this one you can see a lot of detail of the face.Cool picture. I think we will never know what it really was. But seeing solid black things in your house doen't sound good!

I see the face in the thumbnail, but not when I look at the large image! Why would you think its a harbinger of death by the way?
It's in the trees, it's coming!

The thumbnail doesn't show as much detail. To my eyes, in the bigger photo, the "face" looks to be part of the motion blur, it appears the camera is moving to the right, the facial features look to be part of the blurring

I can't really explain away this image but it seems to to be doing "me" & a corpse like apparition of one's self is commonly associated with one's own impending death.

That's a creepy picture, more so with the black and white x-ray looking one that Mac posted. Thanks for doing that ;) I see a skull with a shroud over it, facing left, and deep eyes, even teeth !! Weird and ultra-creepy. If I found that on my phone or camera it would startle me, too. I think it's probably motion blur and an accidental picture as the others have stated, but awesome effect on it it's definitely one of a kind. Thanks for sharing this..

I spent a couple of minutes trying to see what you were seeing there in it.

Oh golly, I wish I hadn't.

It is a very interesting picture and thanks for sharing :confused0068: I have had something similar happen!

My partner had a mobile phone that he kept on the bedside table for an alarm clock, it had no sims card or wifi. From memory, he turned off the alarm and went into the bathroom, when he came back the phone alarmed again; when he lifted the phone there was a picture on the display screen. Since neither of us knew where it came from he thought I had taken it while he went to the bathroom. It even showed it was a current picture, by the time stamp on the picture. I won't say what he thought the picture was of, but I could see something completely different to him and the only thing we both agreed on was neither of us took the picture. That was quite a while ago now and we are both in the land of the living; if that is of any comfort to you :)

Also, your mum said you are seeing dark figures around the place, I have read different things on these anomalies and personally I don't believe 'dark' necessary defines something as evil. Please keep us posted.

It appears to be a accidental photo of things on a window seal or out side a window showing trees
I've rotated it, and enhanced it a bit.
