Need Help Debunking My Eyes

On the subject of my eyes themselves, I can see something 24/7 that resembles an aura, and alongside the aura, a sort of magnetic fog I see around people. They are both transparent, and has no visible color, its just kinda clear. Its subtle enough that I have to look for it, but it's not something that turns "off". When people walk, the aura part remains a constant width, while the fog kind of flows with them and trails off behind them. Sometimes I think the fog stretches between two people who have some kind of relationship, but that may just be the magnetism or whatever force of the two people stretching it by proximity, like the earth and the moon's gravity field. I've already been to the doctors to maker sure I have no retinal tears, and when I discussed this with the doctors, they were pretty sure what I'm seeing is not coming in from my eyes, but rather, in the brain itself. My brain might just be processing the image wrong, but I think its something mechanical in nature, coming from the eyes themselves. I dont think it's some other sense being merged with the eyes, since it's always on. Some doctors are saying now that the human eye has the potential for magnetoreception, because one of the pigments our eyes use can be affected by magnetism. I could swear I also see a pink line of energy connecting my fingers when I place them within three inches apart, but I think I'm just imagining it. However, people report when I move my finger near their body, they can feel something tugging as if my finger connected an energy beam and didnt want to let go. Ive tried it on my own palms and seem to think I can feel something too.
I also seem to be aware of the individual points of light from my vision cones. When I see a wall, I see the wall but also see what looks like billions of tiny red and blue specs flowing across a surface. Its like the screen door effect on a VR headset but much finer. It's more apparent on different surfaces and textures than others, and it almost gives shadows in dark rooms a sense of flowing and mass.
On the subject of the ghosts that I have seen, I'm not sure I "can see ghosts" so much as I have seen their physical manifestations that anyone would see, had they been present. Only one has appeared as flesh and blood, during daylight. It was my neighbor's deceased cat, running under a white plastic chair next to the wall of their house in the backyard, where it either disappeared or ran through the wall into their house, but my view was obstructed by the chair. My neighbors were there and apparently didnt see him, but the cat was running fast enough that they may not have had the time to see it. The chair was easy enough to see under, and I still sometimes question if I didnt just see another living cat that looked like him. But I remember clearly the cat had nowhere to run from under the chair without being seen. Ive seen several transparent entities, with varying degrees of solidity and form. One actually smacked me lightly across the face after pulling down on the end of the bed. My eyes popped open in time to see a blue mass with a tentacle retreating out of my line of sight. I think it went through the floor. Ive seen a ferret like creature next to me on a couch, protruding out of the back of the mattress, grooming itself. I sorta noticed it in my peripheral vision, watched it long enough to discern it's general appearance and freaked out, jumping off the couch as the realization of it being an extradimensional RIGHT NEXT TO ME sunk in. Turned around and it was gone. I recall the ferret being white translucent, though some part of me says it was leaning toward a tan or gold?
The scariest entity Ive seen appeared three times in my closet, a couple days apart each time. The doors were off the hinges and I couldnt keep them closed. It practically beamed fear into me when I saw it, a simple three colored abstract bust of a cartoon alien. Silver torso, green oval head, red slanted eyes. I woke up with a start and immediately turned, as if not under my own control, to face the closet, and there it was. It was a "This sh** is real" moment, and I immediately pulled my cover over my head and hid. After a few seconds I looked again it was still there so right back under the covers I went. The second morning I saw it, I stared at it for maybe 5 seconds, 10 tops, trying to discern that YES IT WAS REAL AND IT WAS BACK. I was trying to watch it, see if it did anything I guess, figure out what it was. Fear overcame me again and I pulled the blanket over my head. The third time I saw it, it was a repeat of the first. I hid as soon as I saw it, peeked to see if it was gone. The freaky thing is, it left a perfect afterimage in my eyes after each time I saw it, as if I was staring at an illuminated sign for 5 minutes straight, and took a long time for it to fade. The fact that it left an afterimage makes me think I had seen it externally, and likewise supports my theory that I see them because they appear physically rather than having an ability, though not every ghost may appear the same way. Haven't seen the entity since the 3rd time, I duct taped a heavy blanket over the closet door so I couldnt see into it anymore.
One of my siblings claims to see colored auras, and spirits when others cannot, and can tell you what a person's aura colors are. However, this sibling has proven time and time again to tell some big lies. The fact that I see something, albeit something different, may give them some credence however. I have also once seen a black aura like square forming something looking an awful lot like a censor bar around this same sibling as if to censor me from seeing their aura, although I wasn't intending to when it happened. Seeing this black bar was the only time I have ever seen anything like a true colored aura. Ive read from several people claiming to have aura vision that these serve as spiritual protection and censor bars from people who are either protected or haven't given you permission to see their aura. That might indicate, along with my siblings claims, that I either do or have the potential to see something that I can discern some kind of information from if I knew what I was looking at. That also assumes this is a paranormal/spiritual talent, rather than biomechanical, but what I see feels mechanical to me, like a sensor I just don't know how to read.
So, based on what I have described, does anyone have knowledge, scientific or paranormal, as to what the clear aura and fog could be? Are there things I can do to debunk if it's just a visual processing error, an eye condition, etc? The fact that I have (or think I have) seen ghosts and other critters makes it tricky for me to discern just what it is.

I'm not discounting your experiences, but if you point your episodes to etheric reasoning first, you might end up with further complications that could otherwise been treatable..

I can say that the foggy eye does cause me to see an aura around things. More so if the thing has a light in it. The fog makes the illumination more pronounced. Other times it seems to be more profound based on the color of the clothes people are wearing. I cant say for sure that it has ever been coming from a person. Or maybe I always dismiss it knowing the condition I have
Life is short, enjoy it!

And I did ask for debunking, so no worries on suggesting anything that implies it's not paranormal, the whole point of this topic is to find out what I'm seeing. If there is a known disease then you guys might wind up clueing me in to something the doctors missed. But if it happens to line up with a known paranormal ability, then maybe I'll get lucky and figure out how to interpret what I'm looking at.
I was tempted to just make a post focusing on the specific issue of the auras, to reduce the wall of text to get through, but I felt mentioning the other possible paranormal abilities and sightings might give a few clues.
Speaking of which, I seem to have forgotten to mention I have a sigmatism. After some estimates at work today, I think the optional viewing distance to see the auras is about 18 feet away, up to 30 feet. The regular "auras", but not the magnetic fog, seems to be around most objects I look at, but usually is only about an inch wide. I'm trying to avoid vision cone fatigue when observing the objects, the aura is generally always there when I look for it, without starting for 15+ second. I'm thinking what I'm seeing is some kind of reflected ambient light.
The fog looks too fluid and behaves differently. It doesn't seem to be heat, based on what videos I've seen on how heat moves. It's more like a gas that can't quite escape the person's personal gravity field, but it still kind of trails behind people as they move.

Some other details that have popped into my mind:
*If subjected to a sudden blackout with absolutely no light, I tent to see a bunch of white flashes, and maybe horizontal white lines moving downward.
*If light catches my eyes right, I can see either my optic nerve or blood vessel structures momentarily, like lightning across my vision.
*I can sometimes see slight flashes in tune with my heartbeat after some thing gets my heart beating. The doctors didn't think anything of this when mentioned it to them.
*On bright days sometimes I see blueish spots flowing outward as if I was traveling backwards down a tunnel.

I have that same issue periodically with your above comment. I deal with floaters, macular degeneration and I'll soon be a candidate for cataract surgery. In the last six months I've visited a retina consultant three times and they don't know what's wrong with me. I understand about losing faith in doctors but giving up and not being proactive would be the biggest injustice you could do.
I'm a portrait photographer by trade now *late bloom* and I understand the importance of vision more than most. Don't give up on doctors or your eyes may give up on you.

I went through a few months in Spring/Summer 2017 where I would randomly see loads of tiny blue spots flying around at times everywhere I went. I would see them mostly outdoors on sunny days but I would still see some when I had sunglasses on. I had various Eye Tests and they found I had 20/20 vision with no medical reason at all for seeing these blue spots. Eventually I suddenly stopped seeing them (guessing around Autumn 2017) and I haven't seen them since.

I'm not giving up on doctors an time soon, but as far as I can tell they keep giving up on me. I must have made 30 phone calls in one week just to get them to talk to eachother like their supposed to, and I still wound up tracking down an old fax machine and sending in my medical records on behalf of the doctors. My insurance was asking me why I was sending the records in, and I told them "because the doctors you keep sending me to are lazy".
