There is a nature show on Netflix by a guy named David Attenborough "A life on our planet".  david spent his entire life from a teenager to now traveling the globe and recording wild animals and making nature documentaries.  He follows his life from the late 1930's to present.   At various points in this show, David gives a world status of population, carbon in the atmosphere and remaining wilderness.

In 1937 we have 2.3 billion people on the planet with 66% of wilderness untouched.
in 2020 we have 7.8 Billion people on the planet with 35% of wilderness untouched.

This trend is a little scary.  How much can this planet take?

Thoughts?

I agree Lou - I feel like time is running out for us, I do not mean to be negative but realistic.  I am sure this reply will get some heat, but I stand behind it 100%,
I look forward to seeing your answers or thoughts. Remember, there's not a wrong answer - just what you feel or believe.

Thanks,
Michelle

The reservoirs on the west coast have been getting lower for years and are at a very low level.  I was talking about it with my pastor and she mentioned the dead sea when I spoke of the reservoirs.  This is crazy too.  The dead sea has been dropping 3-5 ft a year for decades now.  The surrounding area is plagued with sink holes due to the conditions.  this article summed it up decently  https://www.latimes....-climate-crisis

Wow, this is rathering interesting. Thanks for sharing this, I've never truly known about the percentage until I came across this Forum. It seems like animal life is dropping. I do agree that we need to take better care of our earth. It seems like things are getting worse for our planet overtime. I'll check out that article now and read it.
