You're all not seeing Pooky.

I've had Pooky's key since 2013. He's exactly where I left him.

You've got a doppelganger on your hands.....

:confused0068:  Oh Great, that's all we need around here, two Pookys... :pinch:

This is a scary thought, but Is it in anyway possible, that Pooky may have an identical brother or two? If so, we are in BIG trouble.

By the way, is Pooky a Púca?

Quote

Púca

The púca (Irish for spirit/ghost), pooka, phouka, phooka, phooca, puca or púka is primarily a creature of Celtic folklore. Considered to be bringers both of good and bad fortune, they could either help or hinder rural and marine communities. The creatures were said to be shape changers which could take the appearance of black horses, goats and hares. They may also take a human form, which includes various animal features, such as ears or a tail.

The púca has counterparts throughout the Celtic cultures of Northwest Europe. For instance, in Welsh mythology it is named the pwca and in Cornish the Bucca. In the Channel Islands, the pouque were said to be fairies who lived near ancient stones; in Channel Island French a cromlech is referred to as a pouquelée or pouquelay(e); poulpiquet and polpegan are corresponding terms in Brittany

Morphology and physiology

According to legend, the púca is a deft shapeshifter, capable of assuming a variety of terrifying or pleasing forms. It can take a human form, but will often have animal features, such as ears or a tail. As an animal, the púca will most commonly appear as a horse, cat, rabbit, raven, fox, wolf, goat, goblin, or dog. No matter what shape the púca takes, its fur is almost always dark. It most commonly takes the form of a sleek black horse with a flowing mane and luminescent golden eyes. (The Manx glashtyn also takes on human form, but he usually betrays his horse's ears and is analogous to the each uisce)

If a human is enticed onto a púca's back, it has been known to give them a wild ride; however, unlike a kelpie, which will take its rider and dive into the nearest stream or lake to drown and devour him/her, the púca will do its rider no real harm. Púca are also known as great chefs, but only operate in their own village. However, according to some folklorists the only man ever to ride the púca was Brian Boru, High King of Ireland, by using a special bridle incorporating three hairs of the púca's tail. The púca has the power of human speech, and has been known to give advice and lead people away from harm. Though the púca enjoys confusing and often terrifying humans, it is considered to be benevolent.

Automated Log Entry.
Captain's Log. Stardate: 71271.02

The Captain had trouble sleeping. He felt that he had missed something in helping to search for Pooky.
He climbed out of bed, showered, got dressed and grabbed some Investigative Equipment and headed out.
As he entered the old house where the others lived (which included the Paranormal Soup Investigation Team),
he paused and listened. From the sounds of it, some of the others were up and  puttering around.
"CK" or "Cap" as the others sometimes called him, turned on his flashlight and went down the stairs into the basement.
After looking around thoroughly, he saw some hand prints in the dust on one of the unused desks.
"Hmmmmm....someone has been down here digging around for...hullo! What's this?"
He looked up at the shelf of books and noticed that one of the books looked slightly out of place. He pulled it
and much to his surprise, a wall panel opened up.
"I wonder if the others know about this place."
Walking over to the opening, he cautiously looked inside. The flooring was just dirt.
The Captain opened up his backpack and took out his floating Camera to record what was happening.
A few steps inward, was a mound of dirt. On the small mound was a ring with an odd symbol on it.
He knelt down to examine it. He reached out and touched it.
POOF!
The Captain vanished.

Saw pooky hiding out in the back of my fridge. He was chowing down on some old salad dressing and I think a pickle or two. I'm waiting for him to clean out the freezer burnt left-overs in the freezer.

Nah, he's too busy causing havoc in Mrs. Frootloop's fridge. He apparently moved on from mine to hers. I swear Pooky's a bottomless pit. Ms. Pooky's almost as bad. I found her in my pantry eating all of the dried fruit, refried beans, peanut butter and washing it all down with, the apple cider vinegar. :yucky:

Poor pooky, he ran out of snacks in the fridge and is now licking the lint trap on the dryer. He's gonna have to move on to another house soon.

I rather have dry mouth and not dry eyes. I don't think I could deal with Ben Stein fallowing me around trying to sell me eye drops.
