What do you think? Is this an old ruin from an ancient civilization?

It is hard to tell the whole surface looks crumbly; but it definitely looks strange stuck up like that!

What is the source for the picture?  Please post a link.

It's really hard to tell if the photo is genuine.  What I'm getting at, is look at the shadows.  The other object shadows appear to be pointing in the 9 o'clock direction, while the shadow of the object in question appears to be pointing in the 10 o'clock position suggesting the photo was altered by whoever put it on the web.

If the picture was taken directly from NASA (not a third party website such as another forum), then it would be unlikely the picture would be altered.  If we could view the source picture directly from NASA we could get a better idea what it is.

There are some interesting pictures of what looks like a thigh bone and a fossilised spine out there too. I wouldn't be at all surprised if there was life on mars at some point in the very distant past tbh.
We have such sights to show you!

Just natural erosion IMO. There are round "blueberries" also on the surface in areas, someone said a picture of a rock was an iguana.   I believe Mars did/does have life, but don't believe we have seen any pictures relating to it

Vlawde mentioned the "blueberries" ...  I think this is likely just a line of spherical concretions that were on a rectangular slab of rock that has broken off from somewhere. There are sharply defined flat slabs of rock in other areas of the image. Just imagine some concretions formed on them, and then they get get broken off and uplifted by some activity on the surface. I have seen nothing else in any images from Mars that suggests anything other than geological processes. Our favorite word, "pareidolia", is very active in many of these images.

There are ruins on the moon,Mars and on earth, and they all shaped like pyramids.

Some astronauts once said the moon is hollow just like earth...

All just normal digital artifacts in photographs, or imagined shapes in low resolution images, not really ruins at all.

I have looked at those things before, and my answer still stands. No evidence for that claim available other than the digital artifacts I mentioned and unsupportable stories.

NASA has altered many images... They even "lose" them sometimes... Imagine that!

You make it sound like that's the last word on this, Snowlord.
I always feel uneasy when asked to go with the theory that nothing is as it seems. To me, I'm not seeing any proof either way.

Prove there is a bridge on the Moon and I will discuss it.

If you or anyone can find some reliable evidence to the contrary I will certainly change my stance on it.

As the mars pics are getting easier to view and less pixelated, there are certainly interesting landscapes to look at! Thinking this is just some rock erosion.
It's in the trees, it's coming!
