Wow! Its been almost two years since I have been to P-Soup... Life moves quickly and my interest in the paranormal was side-tracked.
So, now that I am back, does anyone have any good info on where/when to view any haunted ghost-ships? There is one in Rhode Island called the Palatine Light. People talk about it, but no info on when to look out for it.
My questions are:
1. Best location to view?
2. Best time to view?
3. Anyone track its occurrences?
4. Any close encounters?

1. Near Sandy Point/Mohegan Bluffs on the southern shore of Block Island
2. December 27, 2 p.m (actual wreckage time). but could occur any time between Christmas and New Years.
3. I do not track its occurrences.
4. Not by me, but others have, here is their accounts (I will look for other more recent accounts):
Dr. Aaron C. Willey(February 1810) -
Benjamin Congdon, born around 1788 -

It was large and gently lambent, very bright, broad at the bottom and terminating acutely upward...
I saw it again on the evening of December the 20th. It was then small, and I supposed it to be a light on board of some vessel, but I was soon undeceived. It moved along, apparently parallel to the shore, for about two miles, in the time that I was riding one at a moderate pace.

About the burning Palatine ship... I may say that I have seen her eight or ten times or more. In those early days nobody doubted her being sent by an Almighty Power to punish those wicked men who murdered her passengers and crew.
