I have family that worked in law enforcement and hospitals.  They all have told me that a full moon will get them an up-tick of activity during their shifts.  But, when you get Friday the 13th and a full moon...it's like the gates open up for the crazy to come out!

anyone else have more profound experiences dealing with people (or things) on days like today?

I have family in both and they are sensitive. Neither have told me that activity increases during those times. It just happens when it happens.
As for me. I get more vivid dreaming and experiences during full or new moons. There not bad ones just more messages or interaction.

Light and Shadow. A place where the line is blurred between both worlds.

Nothing is as it seems. Shadow doesn't always mean evil and light doesn't always mean divine.

Pretty much everyone I know who's worked in a popular bar or nightclub will tell you that (on average) a regular ol' Friday night is wilder than a regular ol' Saturday night, and a Friday + full moon is even wilder... more merrymaking, more tomfoolery, more raunchy behavior, more aggression, more fights, more calls to the police etc.

Certainly the lunar phase at full moon has a deserving reputation according to a long history of statistics. Thus the term "luny". At the same time, which is often overlooked, is the concept of selective thinking. In it's simplified form,. you buy a Camry and all of a sudden you see a surprising surge of Camrys on the road. This applies "partially" with the full moon as well. An event makes you notice and apply it to the phase blaming the cycle. I'm not diminishing the statistics of the moon effect on the public. Only that we readily recognize the acts in a more magnified way because of its reputation and association.

I am a theatre nurse in a private hospital, so we are lucky and don't have the amount of increased accidents like I know the public system has. But we seem to agree there are more crazies out  during the full moon :bunny: or is it, they, can just see better to get into more mischief if they are so inclined?

 Actually, in my family, it doesn't take a full moon to do this. ;)

Having worked in the hotel industry... we always knew when it was a full moon. Many more crazies going through the door and sometimes insane crud in the rooms. Like the guy who was arrested as a domestic terrorist on one of those days. Yes, more of that stuff happens on Friday the 13th, the full moon, and it gets worse if the two of them exist together.
