I'm talking about the white image and looks like black hair. First in the mirror than out of the mirror. Not sure what it is.

My apology for assuming what you were referring to. Do you have a PC? Send your image to an email and open the image in paint. Draw an arrow to what is in question please because I'm unsure what I am suppose to look at. Again, in the future increase your ISO in your cellphone from 100 to 400. that will give your shutter speed a boost of 4 times of what you have presently allowing a much better chance of freezing motion blur.

I see the image of what looks like a woman figure in the picture by the lamp. Was anyone else in the house at the time? Or could it be you? ....and the camera was set to automatically take a picture?

Freaky looking for sure!

Its not my house its a hotel room. Those pics were taken the same night as the car side mirror pics. I went there because I was afraid and alone because my family had took my son and went away for the weekend. I got my friend to come and drive me and my dog to the hotel. There was no one with me when I took these. I was sitting on the bed with my dog, My hair is light brown blondey colored. Its not me.

It is definitely weird. Interested to see what others think. Oh by the way your dog is lovely  and looked relaxed did he/she seem to react to anything?

Thanks Kristin, I won't even speculate. I would need a non blurred image for analysis/comparison.

Could the white thing be the fridge in the room and the picture does look slightly fuzzy all over but blurred more where the white thing is?

Are 100% positive that your friend was not with you? I ask because in the photos you posted of the car mirror your friend is wearing a white t-shirt and the hotel mirror photos I see someone wearing a white t-shirt.

Could it be a bit of your clothing or strap or something kind of hanging over the right edge of the lens?  Otherwise I'd think it's a curtain that's kind of billowing

Here's a good solution to remove motion blur but you will need a tripod. But, it will not stop motion blur if you have a moving object with a slow shutter speed. That's where a flash/ISO increase can assist.

Also if you are wondering why your indoor shots are yellow, it's because you have your white balance set to auto. It's the color temperature of the light that is producing that color. Setting your camera to incandescent or tungsten will help eliminate this problem. More sophisticated cameras allow you to set a custom white balance manually in Kelvin.

We also have to consider the fact that a supernatural being can show up blurry by nature. So in such an event, a tripod isn't necessarily the answer. Or are we even considering the possibility of a supernatural experience here? It's good to be skeptical, but we can't let it blind us of the possibilities.

Here is a good example of freezing action. I had a water droplet fall 12” into a bowl. The top part of the droplet is fully in focus and sharp. I had to lock focus prior to ensure at that one spot it would be sharp. If you are suggesting it is blurred below, that is not accurate. I was shooting at minimum focus distance of 12”. I was using a macro lens to achieve that. You have less than 1/10” that will stay in focus at that distance.

My camera was tripod mounted and required a strobe to freeze the action. My strobe fired at 1/13,000 of a second. My F-stop was at F16 to achieve as much in focus before suffering from diffraction. Without the tripod at that distance, the shot would not have been in focus because of minimum focusing distance of 12” and without the strobe the droplet would not have be frozen. The top droplet was not even visible to the naked eye.

I am illustrating how to stop action hopefully in a meaningful way. If I am wrong, please post examples with a technical explanation that supports your claim. I understand photographic equipment much better than you give me credit for and much of it is problem solving without any belief system, just repeatable results.

I guess I will have to post that study after all since people do not understand why motion blur takes, the importance of reducing camera shake and retaining depth of field with a tripod, how shutter speed has an effect, size of the object, the relationship of speed and the affiliation of distance of the lens to the subject.

Oops I see EVP edited his post, and now I'm looking a bit silly in my statement. So I'll remove what I wrote.

How would his posting the study, make it appear one-sided or partial?

MacC...I would rather avoid an argument so I'll keep my keyboard quiet so we don't have to go through and delete post wars.
But I will write EVP later in PM with more detail about my position.

Thank you for understanding.
