Good question LilTue. I couldn't find anything about the grounds being blessed, but in the article, it said that the people that bought the land that Gacy's house was on changed the physical address of the home to help things along. I said it earlier, and I'll say it now, I would have a hard time living there.

DITTO for sure. Addy change or not.

Not to sway from Gacy, but here we had a man named Heidnick. My bro was his mail carrier actually during the time he chained women up and electrocuted them. He also cooked them up. Very tragic and sad. They came to my brother and asked if he ever heard or saw anything odd. He said you never saw that dude, but he got tons of books delivered. Not to mention he had some car like a Bentley parked out front. Real telltale sign something strange is amist in the hood. I'da been afraid to deliver mail to that place after they caught him. My bro had changed routes, but said the new carrier was fine. Pretty sure they demolished that place as well eventually.

Sorry for the off topic.

John Wayne Gacy was more than a serial killer, he was a pedophile. To my mind, the only thing worse than a pedophile who abuses children, is a murderous pedophile. Off all the lowest bottom-feeding, evil people in the world JWG has to be in the top 3 if not #1, (at least as far as I am concerned).

Helena, I do not think you are morbid by having an interest in Serial Killers, but I cannot help but wonder what it is that you find so fascinating. Are you just trying to understand their minds, background, etc. in the same way that perhaps a profiler does? You do not have to answer this question, of course, but I would like to understand.

On a different note, One time while living in a four-plex (quadra-plex), I was burning sage. The new neighbors, (who had a baby), thought I was burning Marijuana and called the police on me. I showed the officers how the sage got a bit out of control and I had had to douse it with water. The police went back across the hall, and said this to my new neighbors, "We don't know how he did it, but he got rid of it". I was so frustrated and angry that I yelled a curse....that a  tree would never live on their side of the property as long as I was still alive. (I do not believe in cursing, but I am still human).

Anyway, the tree that the apartment managers had planted on that side of the property turned brown and then died. It has been approximately 9 years since that happened and still there is no tree growing there. However, on every other part of the 4 buildings in a row, (that are owned by the same landlord), there is a beautiful tree flourishing on it. This may be a coincidence, but I cannot help but to wonder. Perhaps in the case of the Gacy home......."death begets death".

Thanks for allowing me to have my say,

I want to know what makes then the way they are. Why are they wired differently then the rest of us. What happened in their life to make them do the horrible, horrible things they have done. In the reading that I have done, I find it interesting that *most* of the time the reasoning behind what they have done, the catalyst so to speak is a head injury early on in life.
I wish I had spent more time in school beyond what I have taken, because I would have loved to have been a profiler. smile.gif I hope that answers your question RHGS. smile.gif

And I absolutely agree with you. There is no LOWER form of live out there than someone who causes harm to a child. There is NO punishment out there that is harsh enough for that.

I am laughing out loud about never getting on my bad side...Ha ha ha !!! That's sweet.  happy0194.gif

I have a good reason for disliking the JWG types of people and I think that you understand. (I was not blasting you). It is scary to think that a head injury could create such real-life monsters as Gacy. The more I think on it, the scarrier it is. (did I spell that right?)

I find it strangley interesting myself, but have developed an aversion to delving into it any deeper than I already have. As I mentioned...Serial killers, pedophiles, rapists, etc., these are the true evil monsters that lurk our streets.

Clowns certainly are a bit wrong..
My sacrifice bids farewell in this river of memory... a wave to end all time
Red birds escape from my wounds and return as falling snow
To sweep the landscape; a wind haunted, wings without bodies
The snow, the bitter snowfall
You wish to die in her pale arms, crystalline, to become an ode to silence
In the soul of a mountain of birds, fallen
The cascading pallor of ghostless feather

That is a good question Clarina. The West's were certainly sick and demented too! I was wondering about the land that Dahmer's apartment was on too. I know that the original structure was torn down, but I don't know if anything was built on it again.
One would think that such horrors would imprint themselves in the surrounding area.
People claim to still hear screams at some of JTR's killing areas.

The apartment building Dahlmer lived in, was in a particularly impoverished neighborhood.  The last I heard it was an empty lot with a fence around it. I don't even think any attempt has been made to sell the lot or to build anything there. (The rent rates for that neighborhood, aren't high enough to inspire building anything there.)  People in this area are still massively creeped out by the whole thing.   I suspect it'll be a decade or two yet before anyone is going to be ready to tell about any related paranormal elements of it.

Psersonally speaking, land blessed or not, I would NOT want to live there...ever..under any circumstances.  I too read about the JWG's of the world, trying to figure out WHY....but that doesn't mean I want to live anywhere whey they lived.  Bad enough I live in Pensacola, where Ted Bundy killed a child.

Helena hit the nail on the head with her reply about feeling the need to know why serial killers are so differently wired than the rest of us.

Sometimes I wonder just how thin that crossing line is. In almost all cases, there are examples posed how the future killer's behaviour modifies itself from disturbing (sociopathic: antisocial disorders and rage tendencies) acts :

A: the process where on begins to think harmful thoughts
B. the point where such thoughts become perhaps obsessive and invade the everday functions of normalcy
C. the serious planning and modified behavioral patterns concerning the          subjects
D. When the person obsessed (based on the history of serial killer's, the victims are almost always an object of or an ideal of obsession) begins to physically put in effect his plans, often practicing on small animals
E. The future killer has tested the waters and perhaps further desensitized him/her self and resorts to aggressive/torturous/murderous behaviour.

I'm positive there are many shades of grey in between, because the human psyche is much like that of the physical universe. And since I doubt that anyone could deny having experienced A and to some lesser and probably a more stable degree B, it really makes me curious to know at which moment, at the exact point does a person cross that morbid thresh hold and make such morbid decisions.

A thanks from me as well, Helena.

I'll be combing that site. Another person here that is a little too interested in just what happens?????? I mean these are human beings that do these horrific things. How can that be? I comb through stuff trying to figure just what went wrong and when.

Helena, thanks for the Heidnik link as well. I think I can see this because my dad has passed. He was the person who answered the phone when that girl escaped. All he heard was torture, sex, chains. He told her to hold and put her over to sex crimes. She never said "I just ESCAPED from there". That dude was so whack. Another man like Dahmer living in a very impoverished neighborhood. Only he had like a Bentley I think and a Jaguar maybe. Two fancy cars.
Hello!!!!!!!!! Stick out like a sore thumb, maybe?

Raven, I wouldn't want to cross ya either. I'mma be nice to you.  Hahaha!!!!

I think the land would have a few tales to tell. This home was built  on land where notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy murdered 33 young men in Illinois is on the market for $459,000

Here are some updated links

John Wayne Gacy

To many people, John Wayne Gacy was a friendly man who loved to entertain young children. He frequently dressed up as his alter ego, Pogo the Clown, at parties that he hosted for his entire neighborhood. By 1978, public perception of Gacy would change forever, and he would earn the ominous nickname of “the Killer Clown”.

The first warning sign about Gacy appeared in 1964, when he was found guilty of sodomizing two young boys. Gacy was arrested and spent 18 months in prison. By the time he was released, Gacy was divorced and decided to move to Chicago for a fresh start.

In Chicago, Gacy founded a successful construction business, attended church, re-married, and volunteered as the Democratic Precinct Captain in his area. During this time he threw elaborate block parties and built a solid reputation in his community. Gacy was respected and admired by friends, neighbors, and police officers.

During July 1975, a teenager who worked for Gacy disappeared. His parent’s pleaded with Chicago police officers to investigate Gacy, but they never did. This would not be the last time worried parents asked officials to review Gacy as a suspect, but the pleas fell on deaf ears. In 1976, Gacy divorced for a second time, and it seemed to give him a feeling of personal freedom. Unknown to anyone else at the time, Gacy began to rape and kill young men. Over a period of just a few years, he murdered 33 people, 29 of whom were found underneath Gacy’s house — 26 in the crawlspace and 3 other bodies were found in other areas beneath his home.

A young man went to the Chicago police for help in 1977, claiming that he had been kidnapped and molested by John Wayne Gacy. A report was made, but officers failed to follow up on it. The following year, Gacy murdered a 15-year-old boy who had gone to Gacy’s home to ask about a job with his construction company. This time, the Des Plaines police got involved and searched Gacy’s home. They found a class ring, clothing for much smaller individuals, and other suspicious items. Upon further investigation, officers discovered that the ring belonged to a teenage boy who was missing, and they found a witness who claimed Gacy had admitted to killing up to 30 people.

Gacy was arrested, and used an insanity plea in the hopes of a not guilty verdict. The ruse did not work, and he was found guilty. On May 10, 1994, John Wayne Gacy was executed by lethal injection.
