My mother had similar looking flower but it was red in colour and the caterpillars would ravished it, so I made up some white oil  but the plant turned its toes up :(

Well, my back is bugging me, so I'm going back to the chiropractor again, it's only been eleven years since I last saw him. I had my first adjustment today, and I'm very achy.

Oh, we had a Nor'easter last night and lost power twice. The winds were gusting approx. 60 mph, and the sustained winds today were 23 mph. Right now, the sustained wind is 16 mph. The storm's caused a lot of branches to come down, and some are hanging loosely from the trees. The rain gauge read we had 3.5-inches of rain last night. I'll try and take pics tomorrow of the yard.

Ouch.  I don't let anyone touch my back.  I keep a neck brace so if I get a bad back ache I do not hold my own head up.  The brace does.  I'm in good shape after 24 hours.  I don't sleep with it on either.

I enjoy checking the Weather Channel several times a day.  There is always something interesting going on the East Coast.  Glad you are ok.  Post some pictures.

Thankfully, the town maintenance came by and chipped up a lot of the broken branches.

That looks like my back paddock! It is so dry here shallow rooted trees are falling over. I went out yesterday to find the top wire of our fence broke, the wire must have travelled back blowing one of the tops of the kopper log fence posts off! Throwing several large timber bits into the yard! All I can say, I am glad it didn't happen while someone was around :fright: would hate to think what it could have done to flesh!

Glad they are not hitting your house.   I have a real problem with dirty trees especially when the wind is up.  This is probably why California is on fire.

I hear its real dry in your neck of the world too.  Aren't you on fire?

Sorry to hear about the drought over there. I hope the conditions change for the better soon.

Trees surround us. When my neighbor bought the house across the street, he cut down all the trees. I'm kind of glad about it, but at the same time not; they were old-growth trees, and one was almost 200-foot tall. It was such a beautiful tree. BUT, I can only imagine the damage if it had gone over during a storm.

Hi, Mac:

Sometimes you can't tell how infested with pests older trees are.  I cannot imagine anyone cutting an older tree down unless there is something wrong with it.  Glad you got that yard cleaned up, Mac.  lol

He just doesn't like trees. He owns quite a few homes in my neighborhood and he's cut them all down.
