Lots of beautiful meteors flew by just outside the range of my camera lens, and when my camera was writing images to the card, but very few were in the camera's field of view while exposing an image. Of those that did, only one was bright enough to register and very poorly at that. Also my brand of camera ( Olympus ) is not so good at night for astro pictures ( because of "noise" levels ), so I had to take what I got. Oh well, it was a ton of fun just trying.
So here is my super bad meteor shot, and some images of the planetary grouping of Venus, Mars, Saturn, and the crescent Moon. I hope this shows up on all of your monitors. Also I will add some scenery images from my drive along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Just so you will have something decent to look at after my poor astro pics.
The meteor .. sorry it's not better ...
The planetary grouping .. followed by the same image with no text ...
And some different versions of it .. at different times and magnifications ..
More images here ...
Me, looking for meteors ...
And the cottage at night ...
( I guess the scenery will go in another thread. )
