My wife told me about 1.5 months ago that since I was getting converted that I should treat myself to something nice.  I had worked 65-75 hours a week for the last 2 years and 9 months.  This has put us in a very good financial situation.  She went on to tell me that she knows that the car I bought last year was not what I really wanted...but was kind of forced since my Jetta had the turbo go out and it was in the shop.  I considered this and started looking at cars again.  It didn't take long for me to decide on the make and model.  I decided on slightly used to save money since what I wanted was too much brand new.  Then the search started.  I looked with in 300 miles of my house and ended up doing a coast to coast search.

The flooding in Houston and Florida was a mess and there were some nice cars in both of those areas,  I wrote those areas off.  I saw this car in Louisiana before the hurricanes hit and the car fax was clean!  I started negotiating with the guy last week.  My wife and I drove 6 hours each way to pick it up.

2015 Lexus RC350 with 13K miles on it.  It is immaculate inside and out.  Well worth the trip!!!  I got it at 29% off of the original sticker price.

Yes, I bought a car last year (red Scion TC).  My son loves that car and he is buying it from me.  I am selling it to him for what I owe on it (15K).  We had been making double car payments on it for the last 6 months since we were able to pay everything off but it.

the new car...

That is a really stunning choice for a car. I'm still with my Honda prelude though I can replace it anytime I want but I enjoy driving it especially during rainy days after I made several modifications like installing mud tires and suspension lift a few years back.
