Would I be a dork if, one, I mentioned what fictional high schools they attended...West Beverley and Bayside and, two, mentioned that I am of the same graduating class from both shows..1993, and three, contrary to popular belief Luke Perry was not the oldest highschool student ever, it was Gabrielle Carteris who played the nerd. She was 29 in the first season.

And now that we completely hijacked the thread...

Another movie that totally creeped me out was Salem's Lot. It gave me nightmares for years.

Bad Ronald - Holy Cow!  I remember watching this movie when I was in middle school, it was really creepy!  The actor from that movie made alot of bad flicks, there was another one, I will see if I can dig it up.

My fav creepy movie is "Carnival of Souls".  Freakiest Movie Ever.  Check out the trailer:

Ssssssss!

This movie scared the socks off of me when I was a little girl. By the time I saw it, it was on TV, so probably 1982-1983.
I'm not even scared of snakes, but I guess it's tre what they say:
Once this motion picture sinks its fangs into you, you'll never be the same! (que scary music)

Beatlefish, I saw that one too!  I remember that scene vividly, but can't remember the name of the movie for the life of me.  I'll see what I can dig up.

OMG, Salem's Lot is the scariest darn movie I've EVER seen.  I get chills just thinking about it!  That scene where he makes the cross out of the tongue depressors as the lady is trying to get him...*shudder*.  Nem, did you read the book first?  It's even worse than the movie (in a good way)!

ETA:  Was it "The Bad Seed"???

ETA Again:  It Was Definitely Don't Go to Sleep!!!!!

I don't know what the titles of the movies were...but there were two that stood out:
One was about a house with a bricked up fireplace (or was it a staircase?)  I don't know.  But the house had these tiny little shrivelled up people living...maybe under the staircase.  And the new owners unbricked it and one by one the little people dragged the new people under wherever they were (fireplace, staircase) until there was no one left.  I think the main character went mad because no one would listen to her when she was telling people what happened.  They finally got her too.

Another show was about a guy who suddenly grew an eye on his shoulder.  Bllllech!  I can't remember the rest of the show, but I'm pretty sure that eye was eeeeevil!!!!

eeek an eye on his shoulder ? Sounds like it would creep me out.  I'm wondering if the previous was People under the stairs I think that was the title.

I remember too The legend of Boggy creek (I think thats what it was called) the mud monster got its arm cut off when a door was shut on it (lol) and it started to move then jumped up and was choking someone huh.gif I remember that creeping me out.  ...of course I was probably a kid  but still.
