We know that scams are at an all time high these days.  Our IT dept sends out fake phishing emails all the time to see if they can trick employees to click the link in the email.  Some of us, who have never fallen to their tricks are tired of these emails.  Because we have to go through the process of reporting them to IT....SMH

But wait...there's more!  Any time we plug a USB drive into our desktop or laptop, the security protocols require a device scan before we can do anything with that USB drive (read from or write to).  The scan time is directly proportional to the amount of data / files on the drive.  On top of that, they have added layers of additional firewalls that cause our internet to be much slower AND trimeouts for a number of web sites...including paranormalsoup :-(.  Some days it may take as much as 10 attempts to get to an actual thread.

Our work has two-factor authentication on everything. This is all fine and dandy until I am on a work computer on our work network and have to verify myself! How many people are really going to steal my laptop then drive to our office and use our WiFi to connect?
Resident skeptic. Deal with it.
