Power is out across my subdivision. I'm using my portable generator, my Laptop, headphones and my portable Verizon Modem.
I'm also using a headlamp and I've got a fire in the fireplace which should last me about 4 hours.
I can see and I can stay warm. I'll give you a status report in one hour.
Terry has a Propane tank which provides her with power in case of Emergencies, so the situation is well in hand.......I hope.

A word about Tarrytown, NY:
When it comes to folks from out of town, the place is notorious for its Parking Citations.
As I was eating at a place called Belle's, The Parking Police rolled up to my car and planted one on my windshield.
When I enquired as to why I got the citation, I was informed that I was parked on an "Alternate Side".
"Are you telling me that I was parked in the wrong parking lot at the wrong time?"
"Yes. $30.00 fine."
"I'll be paying it Online."
"Okay. $3.00 Convenience Tax".
(Shakes my head)
On my way home I made a wrong turn and got on the New Jersey Turnpike.
I got fined $40 for failure to pay the toll. Oh well. Live and learn.
