Hi all,

I'm facing a desk move next week and I'm none to happy about it - one of the previous owners of the desk was quite a negative, toxic person. So tell me, is there something I can do to clear the air a little bit at this desk without popping out the sage (not likely to be able to burn anything in the open plan office!)

I'd love to hear your thoughts :)

Switch desks and take yours with you.... seriously.  ;)

If you're religious... pray and ask that the new space be blessed with peace, harmony and comfort. And do it everyday for a week to show your faith in this.
If that's not for you, i'm sure others will chime in with other things for you to try.  ;)

Oh, and are you familiar with salt lamps? I saw a big one at the health food store for $30. You plug it in and your done.   :  )
For a desk, a small to medium size should be fine.

Testimonial concerning Salt Lamps

Kathy
FEBRUARY 18, 2015 AT 3:18 PM
I have two salt lamps in my house. One is in my kitchen as that is the main entrance coming into the house. One is in my bedroom. I use the one in the kitchen the most, mostly when I know the person coming over is negative I will turn it on before they even get their, and leave it on for at least an hour after they leave. My husband notices the difference when it is on and he will even turn it on if he feels to much negative energy in the room. Love the salt lamp.

I have a Himalayan salt lamp on every night in the bedroom at my desk and I think they are great. Just make sure you replace the bulb with the correct watt from memory I think ours were 7 watts. If there are any cons I would say it is replacing the bulbs we seem to go through a lot and will be looking into LED bulbs next

Good to know concerning the bulbs correct wattage. And it sounds like the person should stock up on bulbs too!

Negative ion generators.
You can get them in USB stick form now, for a few dollars, and create a very small personal space of positivity and good feeling.

I have one in the bedroom, and haven't noticed any effects from it. I did some research, and found that negative ion generators do a much better (and measurable) job. From what I read, any possible negative ions from a salt lamp are so low they can't be measured.

They look cool, though!  I did see the USB sized ones Faranormal mentioned, maybe I'll try one out

Possibly sliding off-topic a little here, but I'm curious.

On location, I use the EM pumps and EM vortex generators and stuff, and I more or less know what they do, what they're put in place for, and an idea of the effects they do/don't create. What would the effect be, do you think, if I were to lay out a bunch of these salt lamps, or negative ion generators, on an investigation site? I more or less know what they do, what they're put in place for, but not really certain about what effects they have. Is this known, or should I get my lab coat and clipboard?

I would suggest you put together a little medicine bag of stones.  I would put obsidian, snowflake obsidian, black tourmaline or an apache tear for negativity.  Add some rose quartz to soften the energy.

And don't forget a piece of Amethyst!!!

You can place these in your desk drawer or under your desk.

They make white sage in a spray form, no burning required. See below.

The stones should be raw, not tumbled, especially the black tourmaline. It's not necessary, but I'd add a charm or a bead made of Fine (.999) or Sterling (.925) silver.

Let us know how it goes.... and try to take your desk with you. His desk would be the source of the negative energy... for the most part.
