OK...so like last week I started realizing weird stuff was happening wherever I was.

It started when me and my mom and her step mom went to a basket raffle where we usually host a family fundraiser for a local charity...Me and my mom were walking by a door that DOES NOT OPEN EASILY, I have been in this room multiple times and I always got chills even though there are no windows or vents in this room.

So anyways, we were walking by this door and IDK what compelled me to look up a second before the door slowly opened...as if not to hit the table that was close to the door, I turned to my mom and asked her if she saw it. She said, yes and to let whoever it is out and slowly close the door behind them...to make sure they are out.

Now, I never thought anything of it, but I distinctly remember last year at the fundraiser 3 kids where running away in terror staring at their phone and I caught what the one was saying "THIS APP IS REAL! THIS APP IS REAL!!!" and I also caught a glimpse of their screen...it was one of those "ghost detectors". Now I don't necessarily think those apps are real! But are these events somehow related?

Me and my mom told my grandma what happened, she jokingly said "Maybe it's Lucas!" Lucas is her son, my uncle that I never met that died from anorexia. I remember hearing 2 or 3 footsteps next to me as she said this, I was the only  one who noticed.

So fast forward to the next day, I start hearing ringing in my ears...I usually get ringing ears, but not this much, I'm talking every 30 seconds or so I would hear a sharp ringing, then it would stop. I just blew it off thinking "oh,maybe I just need to drink some water"! Later that night I read after doing some research that constant ringing ears if found that it could mean a dead family member is trying to communicate with u...is it Lucas?

Anyhow, now I have started hearing ringing more, and seeing shadows and orbs in my room, and getting oddly cold all of a sudden as if someone is right next to me in bed! The spirit seems to be friendly, I even did a few videos on it earlier today, I will link the one where the most happens, pay attention around the 4:50 mark...sorry I seem like such a dork, I get this way whenever I'm scared.( was doing 2 videos and it took 10 minutes) and there is another ghost figure too. The girl I haven't seen in a long time she is the one that's probably the same age as me, before this whole Liam-Lucas thing started. The charger was out of nowhere, I even slowed down the video, how fast I moved the rope would not send the charger as far as it went...the charger was like 4 feet away from me!

Hello and welcome to the boards.

Most Ghost Hunting apps are just for entertainment purpose, so, with that in mind I feel those girls were doing just that having a bit of fun!

I feel our loved one's are always close and maybe that was what you were experiencing (a loved one). However, it is important to check out anything that could be a medical condition like tinnitus. Our hearing is very important and any changes should be investigated (at any age) just to rule out any problems.  When you say you are seeing orbs and shadows do you mean you are seeing them in real time or in your videos?

As I mentioned when I edited your post, we don't allow "New Members" to post their youtube videos in their "First" post. We find most new members who do; are only looking to direct traffic to their channel and not really interested in being an active member.

I couldn't see anything unusual like orbs or shadows in your video and the charger could have simply fallen from where it was. The chair back seemed to conceal the chargers fall so without you narrating what was happening and picking up the charger to show. I wouldn't have realised it was the charger!

I only heard a bang which could have been anything! The video didn't show anything falling no matter how much I slowed the playback speed!

I also see you are asking your audience in your youtube link to comment if they see anything! Just a tip, if you are hoping people comment that might be hard as the comments are disabled!

The charger was on the couch I looked at where it ended up before it was there, nothing was there. The video won't let me have comments for some reason. I have been seeing orbs and shadows in real time, I tried to catch one on camera but nothing showed up. I was not trying to get followers sorry if it seemed that way. I also have recently had a hearing test done and everything was fine, I highly doubt my hearing is in danger. I was really just weird ed out that the ringing was happening so often. I didn't know it could be someone trying to contact me! tonight I will do another video later into the morning so I can see if I can catch anything. Thanks for the concern about my hearing and thank you for helping me...I PROMISE I wasn't trying to get views, the comments are disabled because I am under the age of 18 I believe.

ILP... just a few benign questions for you.  When you were little, did you have an imaginary friend or friends?  Are you drawn to water?  Do you need to have some alone time each day?  Do you get overwhelmed in crowded places or avoid a lot of people?  Do you sometimes know things but aren't sure why?  Do you like animals and sometimes think you know what they are thinking?  Are people drawn to you or do they keep their distance from you?  Do you ever feel sick or angry when someone near you feels sick or is angry?

Yes, I believe YouTube turns off comments if users are under the age of 18 years.

I see orbs in real-time and have been able to since I was a child. Don't dwell on the why or how you see them, because if you do; you might never get all the answers you are after.  I always go with my intuition or gut feeling when I see them and most times get answers with other senses.

Clairsentience can often develop, a symptom can be ringing in the ears I have heard many with that gift describe their journey that way.

A hearing test measures the person's ability to hear different sounds, pitches, and frequencies that are considered a normal range within different age groups. It helps to rule out any hearing loss often associated with tinnitus. An audiologist is the first choice of treatment for tinnitus, but, tinnitus isn't a condition it is a symptom. In other words, it could be a condition not even related to hearing, but the ringing is a symptom of something else. It could be a condition as simple as low sound pressure from earbuds in the ear.

Without knowing more details about the location of the fundraiser or its history; I am not sure I can offer any logical explanation about what happened! When I think about your question, I seem to have more questions than a logical explanation.

Sounds like you may have been followed home? Just be careful, as some paranormal entities have been known to impersonate loved ones to take advantage of your welcome. If you ever feel uncomfortable, be ready to speak with authority and command anything bothering you to leave your room/house/etc. You set the rules, and if it doesn't follow them, you tell it in no uncertain terms it has to leave, and be persistent and stubborn if the entity ignores you.

Hopefully it's a friendly, but it couldn't hurt to be prepared.

You were very thorough with you description of events but it's always best to log the events in detail including time, place and participants. It could be entirely isolated and not happen again for a very long time. Log your time for the next month and see if a pattern or repetition develops. It's important to do this as human memory is horrible in remembering exact details purely be recollection. The more times a story is told and retold events will change with the storytelling. Just remember the age old game "telephone". Even a simple sentence becomes convoluted after a few re-tellings.

I contain more questions and answers in my paranormal journey. I feel it's important not to label anything definitively. Try to observe with minimal bias and try to separate the mundane events from the unknown. Far too many rely on perpetuated unproven dogmatic belief systems. Keeping yourself open to alternate explanations will give you clarity in your observations.

Earlier, tinnitus was brought to light as a possibility. It may not be the reason for ringing in your ears but something as simple as a buildup or ear wax can in fact create it. I'm very familiar with the effects of tinnitus. In my 20's I played drums in a rock band for many years and the damage has been done. Four decades later I continue to suffer from incessant ringing to the point that I have to listen to hear it because I've become so accustomed to the ringing.

Lastly as Klainey said, Ghost apps are purely for entertainment purposes only. Just because several individuals become overwhelmed by their own self-induced fear this isn't a representation of application authenticity.

I did not have any imaginary friends, I am drawn to water, I love, like unexplainible the amount I live to swim, I really don't need alone time, I don't get overwhelmed in crowded places, I do sometimes know things and I don't know why(this doesn't happen very often though, like sometimes I will be talking to a friend and she shows no physical signs of sadness or anger,but I KNOW she is hurt, idk how, I love animals, I do sometimes think I know what they are saying and thinking, people for some reason are always drawn to me, especially younger kids, and finally, yes I do feel sick or angry when someone like that is around me!...I'm just confused how this plays into spirits.

I don't believe it's my uncle, I'm just saying it's highly possible it is friendly except the pushing, but thats it

the location is a church parish hall, not sure how old, but the back room(the one that the door opened) seems a heck of a lot older, as far as I know, no previous hauntings...I still don't understand how I always had an instinct that that room was creepy and possibly haunted.

also last night, around 3 am, the fan in my room randomly shut off,I looked at my alarm clock and it was on, the fan was off for a good 30-40 seconds. The even more creepy part is that it happened when I was researching signs of a haunting, I was just reading the part about appliances randomly shutting off! I also saw the orb right next to the fan. my black cat Figment was laying on the carpet next to where it happened, he jumped up and started hissing

wait...different frequencies?! that also may explain why I hear "HELP! HELP" when noo one is there!, sorry i didn't mention this earlier.   I also have multiple items of my great grandparents...are they possibly using the jewelry box or the doll or even the bunny or perfume bottle as vessels? all these items belonged to my great grandma...same side as the uncle.

Yes we hear frequencies, I think the common range for a person is between 20 - 20k Hz. I am not sure what the clairaudient level is. I had my levels checked by my granddaughter for one of her assignment; I can't remember the results only they were good and I had an excellent range of depth for my age.

I also hear spirit I believe there are 2 different ways of hearing

• The first is outside your body as if someone has spoken into your ear (for me it is always my right ear) and
  
• The second, it feels  inside the body, as if the words are spoken into your thoughts (I can be deep in thought and some voice will add to the conversation).

I also have a blind mind's eye (Aphantasia) I can't picture images in my mind but I can see orbs and spirits in real time (I am not fond of seeing spirit!).

P.S Searching the Paranormal is never a good idea at 3 am! Your mind is a powerful tool, if you are freaked out already it can intensify those feelings.

Don't be worried about your fan turning off for a few seconds, my computer screen turns off and on a lot! Even though I don't know why it happens, I don't think it is paranormal.

Now the old sewing machine still sewing with the foot pedal and power cord removed might have been my daughter's Great Grandmother -inlaws way of getting all our attention.

Maybe your  great grandparents are popping over to visit too

As EVP said keep a journal/ log it is surprising what we forget over the years.

I started a log yesterday, and I was researching way earlier than that, it just happened then. thank you for all the tips though...is it ok to be ok w/ whoever it is being in my room? I see it as only a weird occurrence, doesn't bother me much.

I'm personally against acknowledgement and welcoming in your home. If you find it becomes annoying and ask it to leave, it may have grown in strength by a long period of acceptance and may no longer be termed as a "friendly ghost". This can turn your sleep pattern into chaos. I think it's best to set boundaries and separating your home life from your spiritual curiosity is best on so many levels.

ILP... based on your answers to my questions, you have some traits of being an empath.  You may be attracting spirit activity because of that, not to scare you but just trying to get your attention.  It might be drawn to you because you are able to sense its presence.  You can find empath tests by googling it.  Heredity plays a part in being an empath.  Has anyone else in your family had odd experiences?  My entire family was/is empathic to a larger or lesser degree.  There are both light empaths (living people are drawn to you) and dark empaths (spirits are drawn to you).   I have seen auras my entire life (as my Mother did) and kept it a secret for 54 years.  My Sister & Mother would have "night" visitors.  Empathic skills can be developed.  If you would like to take some simple tests to determine if you are an empath google Dr. Judith Orloff.  I would also have some suggestions to determine if you actually are having spirit activity around you.  I will warn you that if you pursue the paranormal you are opening a door that you cannot close.  It will change the way that you view your life and it will only lead you to more questions.   I have pursued, seen, heard, felt & documented things that shouldn't be possible.  I know less now than I thought I knew when I began researching this subject.  If you are young your time may be better spent on concentrating on living and ignore the rest.  You might be happier.  This is dark stuff and life is short... so enjoy the now.  Just 2 cents from this old man.   Hoping you find peace of mind.

Ive used the Spud Pickles ghost app on my cellphone. If I'm not connected and tuned into what I want to do it does nothing. If I connect it gives me full conversations. I don't need it to hear spirit voices. I just like to have an app talk to me with a physical voice in response from time to time. Its usually my grandfather who passed over 20 years ago who talks to me. I also only use it in my home space. Been dealing with the paranormal since I was a year old from my oldest memories. (so 80s). So I know the do and don'ts for myself with my experience. I also don't go ghost hunting. Too much drama with that from my perspective.
For me when my brain starts to tune in for spirits it sounds like static from an old tv or a radio. Which then some cases picks up peoples portable phone at home and other tv shows. Its odd. It does both ways. I guess spirit and remote hearing. Who knows.
And I can see orbs with my eyes they are different colours and round not 2D and sizes. I've seen ectoish blood and footprints (that was connected to the only evil like being ive met, that was really weird). I can see anything from the minds eye spirit sight to physical eyes solid apparitions. Seen different types of beings on this earth and the spirit world too.
I think after almost 40 years to me its a daily thing part of life. Like interacting with living friends and family here.
I have ran into dark beings (not evil) and lost souls, shadow people (not evil for me), past family and friends, alot of Fae, animal spirits and more.
I know what to use for what being type and how to co-exist. And for the nasty ones...well thats another write up.
