I can handle pretty much all horror films, yet seeing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets left me with a phobia of Spiders. The only other film that disturbed me (in a different way) is Hostel, that film is grim.

Annihilation is a pretty freaky movie. It's not a simple sci fi or monster movie, it's really unique.

None. I always knew they were pretend even when I was little. I was much more determined to find out how they did that stuff, and LOVED "making of" movies that explained it.

Most of them feature stupid jump scares anyway. I do get scared at the moment I'm experiencing it but I seem capable of putting it down easily after. I find books to be more scary if you read the right ones. Steven Kings The Stand scares me to this day.  And I don't mean the movie.
