Me Me Me Me Me.. I am hooked!
Poor April! She must be getting tired of this and is wondering if this is ever going to end. At the moment she is lying down, which is somewhat unusual for her, especially in the daytime, and Oliver is lying down on the other side of the barrier. Every once in a while they nuzzle. It is quite sweet, really. So, I am thinking we shall have a 152lb. baby before too much longer.
She does not look very comfortable, although given those toothpick legs and ungainly neck, she never looks really comfortable.

I am thinking that once she connects the dots and figures out what causes this, she will put her hoof firmly down and Oliver will not get anywhere near her. In Giraffe years, she is really rather elderly and in the wild she would very likely not have survived this long.

I LOVE it that April chose to have her delightful 150lb. baby on my birthday! I have to say I really didn't see this coming!
Good one, Mama!
