That is a really interesting analysis G137.  It certainly looks like you know your stuff!

I wonder if there is a lot more to these pictures and programes than meets the eye.  It's funny that they havn't showed these programmes here more than a few times and I suppose maybe they don't want too many people to start questioning them.  After all, it would spoil the entertainment value after a while.

You are probably right about them not showing or explaining the whole scenario.

I still find them as creepy as the first time I saw them :)

I really can't blame people for wanting to get paid. Royalties off repeated image play is big business, but look at what people will do now to be seen on video. Fudging ghost video or photos hardly compares, Anything above average most would recognize and goes on to become Blair witch, paranormal activity, 4th kind.

I love a good ghost pic or video, one of the videos on that scariest ghost vids I like -it's the one about the rock band, with the faceless guy in the back, but again your talking about a profession where your trying to get your music video seen by as many people as possible, and access to video effects specialists, so it doesn't look good, but who knows.

I always hope to see something truly spooky and real, but that is usually left for my own two eyes out in the field. I never seem to have a camera when something odds happens, it's very frustrating.  style_emoticons/default/Picture 510.gif

WELL! Seems like the dead aren't the only things to get up and walk around here. This could be one of the biggest Necros I've ever seen, lol.

I have nothing of substance to add here, move along please.

Oh yes I recall the case you mentioned about the man getting the wire tied to his neck!!
There was 'plasma' leaking from the walls,,ick. sick.gif
The case was involving a woman being harrassed by a spirit in her small bungelow and many pictures of her with wierd lights etc going towards her head...
I don't remember seeing the one from where you got the pictures though,,something about them is very authentic.
I look forward to seeing your other ones!

I didnt expect to see anyone talk about this case. This case you are talking about is actualy my friends aunt, we have the unedited copy of the video before airing... very creepy for sure

Oh, man! I hope the Pink Lady is legit and not some weird light illusion. I get so bummed when another great unexplained piece of evidence turns out to be another big fat nothing.

Here's the story

The photographs then went to Computer GRaphics expert Sean Dempsey. During his analysis of the photographs he tried a technique called 'Mass Relief'. This technique takes the light and dark areas of an image and emphasises them. When he did this the photo took on a disturbing twist when he saw the following...

<img src="http://img.photobuck...sionghost8.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

Not to be picky, but are you sure the technique is called "mass relief" and not "bas relief"?  The little bit about photography and art that I know is that the different types of relief are - high-relief, mid-relief, low-relief (referred to in the French "bas-relief") and there is a fourth that begins with an "S" the name of which escapes me now.  I wanted to learn more about what they did and Googled Mass Relief but could find nothing.

Probably just a typo Ecto....That would be my guess. I'm sure you're right about the name though, bas-relief sounds familiar.

Jim are these scans from film by chance? Or are they screenshots from the channel once (don't know if it's still around) the TV channel "Bravo".
