BTW I found another possible smudge in the photo, it's circled near the bottom (sorry I couldn't get it a brighter color)

Vlawde, that's not a smudge, it's apparently part of the concrete construction.

I'm talking about above that in the greenery. Same with the background "figure", part of it is the greenery/tree.Detail is bad overall in this photo

Hard to say, it all looks out of focus.... but a smudge is a possibility... at least if the window wasn't down at the time.

My recently replaced cell phone took a lot of photos like that, where there is little detail and stuff blurred together (not motion blur)  Here's an example of the worst. Fortunately my new phone has a much better camera

Is that a spirit or is it you? Were the car windows rolled down or up when the picture was taken?  :D
One thing's for sure... the women sure seem to like being around you!  ; )

haha it may have been the yellow lighting, this was in a banquet room at Spaghetti Factory, a FB group meetup. We had all interacted online so we did a lot of goofing around when we met. No hanky panky, just friends :D

But just demonstrating the effect of a poor photo

I know, and you're right... poor photos do make hard when studying a photo, especially ghost photos!
