Hi. My name is of course Laura. I have always had run ins with the paranormal. Most of the people I'm around are non-believers, so it's nice to find a place I can discuss these things with others that understand.

Howdy from Texas. My name is Bronson and I've been looking/reading/enjoying/lurking around the forums and galleries for about a year now and I must say there is a very good, very comfortable, very educated and very fun  feel to this website and these forums. So I quit lurking about and decided to go ahead and join. Ghosts, spirits, haunted places and the paranormal has been an interest of mine since I was a child.

Thanks for having me,
Bronson

Thanks Augustine. I have a question already. How do I follow a post I've replied to, follow a post I started and follow replies to my posts? Well, that's three questions in one but I can't figure it out. Thank you again.

While viewing the topic in question, scroll to the top of the page and look toward the right hand side (just above the top-most post) for a button that says "Follow this topic."  That's a quick way to be notified of new replies to a thread regardless of whether you've posted to that thread.

You can also manage your notification settings through your profile--although you will need to make a minimum of 15 posts before you can access your user profile (it's a site rule).  Click on your user name and select My Settings. In the Settings menu, select the tab that says Notification Options. This is how you can adjust your notification preferences.  For instance, under the header that says Topics and Posts, there is a box you can check that says "Auto follow topics I reply to."  You can select the method by which you receive notifications (email, notification list, or push notifications...I prefer email just because that's what I check most often).  Make sure to click "Save Changes" at the bottom of your Settings page before exiting your profile, or otherwise your changes won't take.

I hope that's been helpful.  Let me know if you have any other questions. :)

Jump on in, the water's warm.  :)

Seriously, there's so much more that you can do and experience when logged in. Once you cross over you'll wonder why you waited so long!

There's even a ball pit and bounce houses... but don't hold me to it!

Ok but for each body that goes in one has to come out ... or atleast enough body parts to count as one body.  There are laws about these things concerning capacity limits and Jim runs a tight ship here
