I did a few little tests with my pen and could with a little manipulation get the pen to rotate and fall from my hand without any spirit help, so not fully convinced! I wouldn't be call the police for what was shown on the video. I wonder if anything else has happened? Maybe it was the loud banging noises they heard while they were asleep upstairs.... now that would have me calling the police!

Interesting video with the pen.
We had a pub in Rhode Island, in which clouds of cigar smoke would appear out of nowhere.

Weird, but as others have said, it could be easily faked. I can move dead twigs on all plants and stuff like that, but a pen no way.

You can’t see enough in the broom part of the video to make a clear call on that part.

For an experiment to represent a claim of paranormal nature, you would have to administer controls. Having a pen in someone's hand rolling across their palm lacks any kind of control being used. If anyone believes this to be a legitimate claim, I'd highly recommend looking into the term cognitive bias.

I don't think one needs to be an expert to display Cognitive Biases. I think in general, most people have CB, the trick is recognising it so they don't get in the way of proper analysis or recreating an experience. The clip was convincing, that was why I tried and was able to make my pen fall like in the clip. That is not saying their experience was manipulated only that I could reproduce it!
