Human walking in the woods, I think knee length coat, probably with a hood or matching cap, and jeans.
Might be trying to get a better look at the eagle nest.

If this were a few years ago and N. Wisconsin and not Michigan that could have been ME. (and I'm not big at all. ... probably saying "darnit should have brought binoculars... or the camera with the good zoom.) "

I would hope a bigfoot would walk through with woods with more grace than that, my vote is human.

It could also be a hunter in a ghillie suit. I've seen a lot of those, "I caught a photo of Bigfoot!" and it seemed to me, that they only caught someone in a ghillie suit.

I've wondered about this.  I watched it a couple times.  I like the ghillie suit idea although I didn't think this was an adult plus, I don't know that I would leak out where the nest was.  Would you want people disturbing the nesting site.  I'm just saying.

A couple of times I thought it was a person also, Trin.

I'm assuming the cam was attached to the tree somehow because I would hate to think that a person would risk his life staying up there that long.  :\
I don't think we can say with any certainty, what this is for sure. But my guess would be that it's a guy dressed up like a gorilla.
Based on the movements of the beast, It seems like a person is attempting to perform for the cam. In other words, it seems staged to me.

And yes, Menet... he/it seems rather confused and even clumsy.   :  )

Nest cams are usually mounted to something stable in the environment. a human photographer would get chewed up the the parent birds. :D

since the next and the camera are very high up in a tree, the "small figure" is down on the ground.  People do get excited about things like eagles nesting in the area, and will make trips out to see them (from a safe distance, which would be pretty much where this person is, IF the human isn't just walking in the woods and not really aware of the eagles. )

Thank you kevinscan. The photos are much appreciated. They give us a good prospective, on how high up the nest is. So, not good for an Acrophobe. :)

The average nest is in a 50 to 120 feet(15 to 36 meters) tall tree. And Bald Eagles hold the World record for the biggest nest ever built. In Florida a nest was 20ft 0.1574807-in(6.1 meters) deep, 9ft 6.173229-in(2.9 meters) wide, and weighed 3 tons and 15.73219oz(2,722 kg).

I wouldn't want to be under it,  when it falls out of a tree.  You're walking along in the woods and all of a sudden...  :whistling: Splat!
