Thanks for posting this Paraportal. Very interesting. I love reading about these types of things and looking at pictures that are so vivid instead of straining to see something. It is too bad that the building isn't there anymore.

I'm going to have to agree with Madidus. Although, all the pics have a women with long hair, including the one when they went back. These are some incredible pics, but I swore I've seen a post of this before, I think Jeepers said something about trying to buy the actual video so he could post it here. However, I read that ages ago...I think tongue.gif biggrin.gif tongue.gif

Where and when was that show aired? I always seem to miss the good stuff.

Ive seen this programme repeated on Bravo many times over the years, so chances are it will be shown again.

You'd be right there. I did the same post a couple years ago with the same photos but that was lost a long, long, long time ago - back when the forum was under EZboard (I think that was the place. I remember the donation chest vividly).

I also remember when the photos came up on eBay and that Jim had bought a copy of them.

Now heres the question,,that Miss O'haire looks like such a nice woman...does anyone have anoy information on her?
I can't find any..not a surprise there though.
I wonder if they are basing their assumption that it is her on any instance they found about or just because they saw her name there....?

I have the same impression, I think she'd greet a surprise visitor joyfully and feed them!

I don't think the ghost photos look like her, but I also think that if the images are on the original negatives it's a very special set of photos.  The storm may have been an enhancer though, but just the same WOW, maybe we need to be ghost hunting during electrical storms?

I think I might have seen that show before, but I hadn't taped it, and now I want to see it again!

More commonly, at least around here, corn fields and orchards get plowed under so they can build yuppie subdivisions...    Chances are, though that since no one was living there, it wasn't well maintained and may have become a hazard. (too many wild kids going in and messing the place up.)

Here's another site concerning the photos. On the site there is a hi-res top quality scan of one of the pink lady photos!

greetings,

i have to say i do find the images interesting.

but my problem with them now, lies with the person who shot them, guy winters.

this guy is apparently a publicity hound, and after only a quick buck. if you read the post's on the paranormal news link below the pics, you'll read  guy winters saying some really outrageous things.

first, he said he believes the image to be that of "the bell witch" yup, from the bell witch cave. he said something about it being the bell witch cause after his team investigated the bells cave they started experiencing phenomena at home, an i guess he put 2 an 2 together an came up with 7.

then he went on in a later post, saying he thinks its an alien cause it resembles the "face on mars". then he began claiming it has to do with jesus an god, for some reason. at this point i began to loose interest in what that man had to say.

i can say this, everything surrounding those images seem to revolve around money for the guy. on that board i cant remember how many times he thrown out that hes made 5400. bucks on the photos when fox used them.

now, hes after 100 bucks just to view the negatives, an that you would have to drive to indiana in order to view them. hes apparently got a video out that hes peddling every where.

he claims to have been in the field for 15 years, that was 3 years ago. an apparently has some huge collection of paranormal footage or photos, an all these are for sale as well in video form.

sorry yall, but this guys behavior on paranormal news' board has shined a bright light on him an in my eyes exposed him for what he his. not anyone id want to send any money to at all for anything. he keeps on an on about these being the mother of all paranormal photos. yet refuses to provide proof of authenticity to anyone that doesn't have 5400 bucks. thats funny to me, an throws up red flags for me. it also is probably the reason his footage hasn't been seen on any other paranormal show since the fox show was aired, no other show is willing to pay him 5400 bucks for that footage, fox got took.

hes after only two things, popularity, an money. he isn't at all concerned with the community as a whole.

yall maybe wondering what does any of this have to do with the photos. well, his credibility is what I'm seeing as not trustworthy. if i cant trust him, then how would i begin to trust any kind of evidence put forth by this man. as far as i can see, this man is a quack an a hack. he isn't doing the paranormal community as a whole any justice at all, he should be black balled, an shunned by all reputable investigators, until he can change his ways.

anyway, interesting shots, but as it stands with his personality, I'm unable to believe these photos.

blessings,

I have also seen the show " The Worlds Scariest Ghosts Ever Caught on Film ". I 'specially liked the one about the attic. I would have moved out that same night. I think that was the last episode that I had seen of that show, though. I would love to see it again. It was a pretty interesting program.

Those pictures are amazing. I also remember seeing them a few years ago on one of the many incarnations of the board. tongue.gif My favorite is the skull picture. Very vivid. You can see a lot of detail in it. Gives me the willies.  blink.gif

Those are some very impressive pics, but Eclectic's post about Guy Winters makes me a bit hesitant to jump on the bandwagon.

My point of the picture is, can a ghost show up in form like that? The whole, "clothes making an imprint" - can that happen with a ghost?

Yeah, Im still undecided on the authenticity, but they are certainly creepy pics. I only just got Bravo and a load of other channels (turns out I was missing about 50 channels I was paying for, thanks NTL, you ), which other UK cable channels have regular ghost shows? obviously I know about most haunted, and Derek Acorah who I find quite amusing (even if I did contribute to his wealth by buying his book for my mum at xmas, hahaha). I dont have the patience to go through all the channels continuously, I dont like watching TV unless I know for sure something good is going to be on.

Mod edit: Sorry Captain Howdy, had to edit out your feelings for NTL. If you have a question, feel free to drop one of us a line.

My sacrifice bids farewell in this river of memory... a wave to end all time
Red birds escape from my wounds and return as falling snow
To sweep the landscape; a wind haunted, wings without bodies
The snow, the bitter snowfall
You wish to die in her pale arms, crystalline, to become an ode to silence
In the soul of a mountain of birds, fallen
The cascading pallor of ghostless feather

I think Ecletic has the answer, unfortunately, though again I'm pondering the possible usefullness of Thunderstorms.

Here, on cable we have an onscreen guide that we can pull up. Sometimes I see something nifty is on just by browsing.
