Originally aired on a Halloween night. Appropriate topic for this time of year.

If in fact it created this much traumatic damage to people merely by watching it, I'll stick to test patterns!

I wish I can find the original movie to watch but apparently it’s not anywhere to stream.
I doubt it would be as scary now since we know it’s not real but I’d still like to watch it.

Hello Lorac I have looked for it too without success!

Ev,p I will have to watch it, it was a fascinating piece. I believe the intro alluded to it being fictional so if you missed that...and it looks as though many did. It would have been pretty frightening for those who missed it.

This sounds similar to something I heard many years ago!

There was this person who used to jump freight trains as a form of travel. Not because he couldn't afford the cost but he liked the risk; I suppose not getting caught! Anyway this particular time once he was able to jump on and close the door, he realised he had locked himself into a freezer box car. After a while of trying to free himself from the box, he started to feel the effects of hypothermia and eventually laid down. He scratch into the  boxcar floor a message (what he was experiencing and the knowledge he was dying). When he was found dead, repair personal were sent to repair the broken freezer box.   I can't remember much more about the story... like how it ended, it was about 15 + years when I was first told the story.

I have tried to find if there is a source that confirms the story without much success but I was able to come across another case about Nick Sitzman, at least there is a name!. Again I am not sure if it is true.

The person I heard the original story from was a university lecturer on the capabilities of one's mind!  So I would hope the information was fact and not fiction! But who would really know!
