This is a continuation of my last two posts. I am finally leaving the house that has haunted me since the day I moved in with my family. It seemed like any other night, normal in a since. I hadn't experienced anything haunting in a long time up until this point. I had just laid down for the night. I remember rolling over on side facing my bedroom wall when something didn't feel right. You know what I mean, that feeling you get like someone or something is in the same room as you, watching you...waiting. But this sense I felt was much stronger than any I have ever felt. There's only one world I can use to describe it, 'Evil'. I felt cold inside and out, all over my body and then I heard a voice. The most chilling voice I've heard since my last night in my apartment on Maryland Ave. It whispered into my ear, "Raaaccchhheeelll" almost in a taunting manor and then I couldn't move. It was like I became a stone manikin, I couldn't even speak. Believe me, I tried. I tried to scream out for help as I laid there wide eyed unable to see what was clearly penning me down. It then began to add pressure to my side as if it were pushing down into the bed. I could feel its fingers digging in the more it pushed. At that moment all I could do was pray. I prayed even though nothing would come out of my mouth. I recited the Lords pray, "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my Soul to keep..." and so on. I just kept repeating it in my head over and over and over until finally the words started to flow from my lips and the pressure on my side subsided and I was finally able to move again. I just shot up in my bed, looking around the room, trying to pear through the darkness thinking I might catch a glance of something abnormal. But there was nothing there. Just the since of Evil still lingering in air. I sat up the rest of the night praying to God that the Evil presence would go away. I don't remember when I finally fell asleep, all I know is I woke up and the sun was starting to rise. I made it through my last night in that house. I never did tell my brother, I didn't want to freak him out since he would be staying there with his family. I haven't heard from him since either. He's burned his bridge with my mother and I, so I don't know if the Evil is still there or if it was something else. I may never know.

With apology going forward I've edited your post simply because I have eye issues. In fact, it looks like I'll have cataract surgery shortly likely announced tomorrow by a retina specialist. But this isn't about me, it's about your experiences.
I recognized your name and searched your posting history. In a previous posting you stated you experience sleep apnea. This caused me to look a little deeper into that chronic sleep disorder to find out that it's different than narcolepsy as its a condition that creates repeated pauses in breathing while sleeping, opposed to sleeping pattern issues.
Regardless, I'm sure one can suffer from a host of unusual dreaming including lucid terrifying experiences resembling supernatural beings good and bad similar to other sleeping disorders, but more importantly, I have to ask:
Are you receiving any medical treatment for your condition?
I'm not attempting to be obtuse but I do hope you realize the seriousness of sleep apnea if left untreated. High blood pressure, heart disease, type two diabetes, obesity, adult asthma, acid reflex or more frightening a car accident where you might hurt yourself and/or others.
I did enjoy reading your story and I myself have a voice recorded that I heard on the verge of sleep calling out my first and last name so I can relate with your experience and do recognize some of it could have happened.
Please for the sake of yourself and others please consult you family physician if you haven't already and let us know how you are doing. Treatment is available for your condition. There's a good chance your experiences will recede if treated and could reduce the chance of other related maladies.
Always look at resolving problems with critical thought. Those issues can be solved and should be looked at first before placing blame on the spirit world where we have limited knowledge and control over.

It is always wise to get your doctor to review any medical conditions like sleep apnea.
That said; I think you handled the situation well. Unfortunately, you might never find out what it was but let's hope it is the last scare for a while.

I agree with Klainey, hopefully you don't have anything else pop up, but please do let us know how you go. Thanks for sharing.
It's in the trees, it's coming!
