Here are mine, and in no particular order

*Up in smoke
*10 Things I hate about you
*Somewhere in time
*Donnie Darko
*Dogma
*Happy Gilmore
*Pitch Black
*Aladdin
*Mothman Prophecies
*Groundhog Day
*The Notebook
*Sleepy Hollow

These are just off the top of my head.  I'm sure there are a ton more I'll think of later.

My "feel good" movies are:

Almost Famous
Dazed and Confused
A League of Their Own
Music and Lyrics
Under the Tuscan Sun
Matilda
Riding in Cars With Boys
The Parent Trap (the original Haley Mills version)

Others that aren't so "feel good", but that I love and watch all the time:

The Exorcist
The Matrix Movies
Interview with a Vampire and Queen of the cursed
The Doors
Amityville (the original)
Poltergeist
The Others

I also have a constant (literally) rotation of Friends episodes - I watch them daily and have seen them all hundreds of times.

Edited to add:  Of course, I realize that it isn't "Queen of the Cursed", but the filter got me. wink.gif

To watch with the kids (but I love these, too), in no particular order:
1.  Mulan
2.  Monsters Inc.
3.  The Emperor's New Groove
4.  Any Harry Potter
5.  The Incredibles
6.  Pirates of the Carribean 1, 2 or 3
7.  The Mummy, The Mummy Returns

To watch alone or with "him" (but he usually falls asleep):

1.  Bram Stoker's Dracula
2.  Moonstruck
3.  Oceans 11
4   Oh Brother, Where Are't Thou?
5.  From Dusk Til Dawn

Okay, those last three on my "grown up list" have something in common.  Who knows what it is?

Clooney

"Something weird is going on Jess." Simon whispered as they waited to be served. "I overheard Sara and Hector say something about 'getting back at you' in the library this morning."
Jessie thought for a moment, his face expressionless as usual.
"That's just crazy." he said. "I didn't think you even knew where the library was."

Generally I can only watch a movie several times, but Donnie Darko is one of the few exceptions. There are so many layers to it, and it's just a great movie

Great topic! Lots of my choices are already listed, but I'll name a few that I can think of at the moment. We are notorious movie quoters in our family too! whistling.gif

A Christmas Story ~"You'll shoot your eye out, kid!"

Napoleon Dynamite ~ "Do chickens have large talons?"

Almost Famous ~ "It's all happening!"

To Kill A Mockingbird ~ "Don't you say hey to me,you ugly girl!"

Joe Dirt ~ "You gotta keep on keepin' on,life's a garden, dig it!"

Sixteen Candles ~ "She only eats carrots to increase the size of her bust..."

The Breakfast Club ~ "You are a neo maxie zoom dweebie."

Goodfellas ~Waay too many quotes to choose from there.....I'll stop now.
~She Walks By Moonlight...~

Hey I didn't know tv shows were allowed smile.gif I like Friends. An episode that always comes to mind is Chandler and Joey discussing soap...that its self cleaning. And who washes what first .....and the "what I wash last is probably what you wash first" line laugh.gif ..... I need a transcript but if your a Friends fan you probably know what I'm talking about.
Also Smelly cat and Jingle b.

I also can watch Mash at anytime.

The first few there are feel good movies, but The Bunker????  That movie is awesome, but just plain disturbing...it always leaves me feeling a bit sick...but I still love it...don't get me wrong...;-)

Some movies that always do it for me are:
Dumb and Dumber
The Other Sister
Fried Green Tomatoes
Secretary
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Real Genius
Legend
The Fellowship of the Ring...the first hour or so is so comforting for some reason...
Little Women
American Beauty
Look Who's Talking 1 and 2
The Phantom of the Opera...the newest with the guy from 300...yummy...
Home Alone!!! and any number of Christmas movies...they always do the trick...

And I am sure there are many others that I haven't mentioned...
