On the subject of evp's i have been taking my hand held cameras with me to use to record as i walk around a cemetery. Not for the purpose of picking up unusual sounds but just video recording the cemetery at day and night. However i was wondering if a digital camera was sufficient for picking up these so called voices from the dead or do i need to invest in better equipment?
Suffice to say i have not noticed anything unusual when i have uploaded and played back the videos on my pc.

Hello, I use a 60.00 digital recorder from radio shack and it works great for picking up EVPs.

Camcorders, digital cameras with audio, and decent priced digital audio recorders. MIne was around 50 or up. You can even invest in a separate mike.
