That would be a great idea! Expand our knowledge as unfortunately, the printed image is becoming quite the antique these days.

Is this a picture of the picture? Meaning did they shoot a photo of the print? If so, this could simply be a reflection of some light source or lighter object above where they were taking the photo. It would reflect like that off of glossy prints.

If not, and this is the actual photo, then I would guess technical error.

As with everything in this field, there's quite a number of things it could be exactly. Anything from film processing error to printing error. That's assuming this is a printed photo. It could also be paranormal. It's impossible to say exactly without having the thing in my hands.

So is this a photo of a photo? If so, I'd stick to my theory of it being a reflection off of the glossy coating on the print.
