"The Gifted" is a new X-Men TV series, and it premiers this Monday (October 2) on Fox at 8pm EST.

Here is the synopsis taken from IMDB.com...

***  In a world where mutated humans are treated with distrust and fear, an institute for mutants battles to achieve peaceful co-existence with humanity. ***

Sounds sort of generic and vague, but it's pretty much a bunch of mutants on the run from the law, and they take in two younger mutants who have not fully grown use to their powers.  Notable mutants from the X-Men comics include Lorna Dane/Polaris, John Proudstar/Thunderbird, and Clarice Ferguson/Blink.

The pilot episode is directed by Bryan Singer, and he directed "X2: X-Men United" (2003) and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (2014).

This is one to watch!

Cool. I wondered if they'd make a series out of the younger generation.

There was so much hype around the Inhumans show...  One of my cousins was so excited about it, and now he's saying he wishes they would have never started the show.

I watched it this morning (a couple times due to interruptions) and I'll tune in again.  I thought I recognized the dad, it was Vampire Bill last sighted in True Blood.  That's been awhile.   The plot is holding up so far.  RUN! RUN! RUN!   The government has useful tools for capturing mutants.  And they are never heard from again.  So far...good.

I still have yet to see it.  We cancelled our Sling account because they were charging us more than we were actually using.  I'll probably buy the episodes.  Glad everyone is liking it!  ^_^
