Either Stella or Guiness Extra Cold....

Trouble is, where you guys start sampling the finer tastes of life, a majority of us brits are still working (normal day goes to 17:30 over here) so you guys have a 30 minute head start! happy0045.gif

Last night it was apparantly rum. Until I threw up my dinner and conked my forehead on the toilet seat.

Honestly, I swear I drink the day BEFORE a holiday that usually involves drinking. Then I'm queasy all the holiday. (Halloween, Xmas, 4th of July, New Years.....no holiday is safe)

I seem to recall my neighbor giving me two bouquets of flowers, the stalker perv stopping by, talking to an estranged relative, making dinner, then practicing geography with my commode.  I believe the geography lesson were cities in California. "VA...VA...VAllllllleeeeejoooooooooo! Quar Quar QuartzSIIIIIDE!"

Hopefully I didn't do anything else I don't recall.

Alright, it's been over a year since I last answered. For the past year, when we are out I love to get Mai Tai's, they are so good (and potent). At home, aside from rum and cokes while watching movies on the weekend, it's beer and tequila shots. Plus I have a bottle of Patron, for that I pour it on the rocks and sip. If I'm paying that much for a bottle I'm going to taste and enjoy it!

midori sour but if I can't have that (sometimes they run out of midori, how dare they) I'll have a grape kneehigh, black orchid or blue hawaiian.
We're all freaked out here. Let's rule out aliens and stick to what we know.

It's delicious. They both compliment each other in taste. First time I had tasted it was last year and I loooooved it. White rum with lemon juice is also nice, but not as good as lime juice. wink.gif

I love love red wine. Am I the only one? Have to have a glass with dinner at least.
On a hot day a cold corona with lime is nice.
The other day I tried my first Mojito, I made it myself since I had a ton of mint in the garden. It turned out great and was really  refreshing (has lime and rum in it too).
I've always wanted to try Absinthe, never heard of an angry leprachaun but sounds interesting!

My new favorite:

SoCo Kamakazi

3 oz Southern Comfort
1 1/2 oz Cointreu
1 oz lime juice

Shake with ice, serves 2.  SIP IT, PEOPLE!  It tastes too good to chug, anyway.  The perfect combo of sweet and sour.

i always liked rum punches because you can't really taste the alcohol, but barcardi and diet coke isn't bad with a lime.
flaming dr peppers amaze me.
course i've never been much of a drinker, which i suppose is odd for a bar/nightclub owner.

my how things change.  i don't care for sweet drinks any more, it's bacardi and diet coke for  me.  if i'm on a fast track i sub 151.

151 - brrrrr!  Strong stuff, there.  One year my brother in law made rum balls with 151.  They were like eating little balls of lighter fluid!

VCR's are my new favorite, vodka, cranberry juice and red bull. YUM!!
I also like Corona with lime and a pinch of salt.
My air conditioner is on the blink and its 86 in here, one of them sure would taste good about now, and no alcohol in the house! Picture 518.gif
