I remember that footage well.

Here's someone 's interesting take on authenticity. What's more enlightening is reading some of the comments below with the attached video I posted. Allegedly, the user johanacquris is a manufacturer of CCTV units. His comments in particular has a great explanation.

I can't say that I've done elaborate experiments on falsehoods, but many years ago when Ghost Hunters were openly accused of using fishing line pulling the bedspread down, our team used lower end IR cameras and tried to replicate pulling an object with transparent fishing line. I'm not making any accusations of GH at all, but I will say, transparent line remained invisible when we tried regardless of review in frame to frame under well lit conditions.

Regardless, I always felt that footage you posted John was entertaining but inconclusive.

One thing I notice about these kinds of videos is the way objects move. If I imagine a person (or ghost) moving the chairs. for example, it seems the movement would be more smooth and, for lack of better word, steered. These don't seem to be guided in any direction, but pulled remotely. Exactly how I'd envision they'd move if pulled with fishing line

I used to be a magician when I was young and I used "Invisible thread" a strong nylon type thread that is very hard to see, even close up.

They could be using that.

Hmmm.  You're right.  That's a good point about how smooth the items move.  If it was herky jerky then maybe.  But there are other giveaways I guess.  I don't get the publiicty stunt?  Did the the company make billions over night? I doubt it.  What was the purpose, just to get noticed? marketing ploy?

Good question about what the company would get out of it. Here is an update on the first debunking video that might address what might be behind it.

Thanks Klainey, I never believed it was real. There was something about it that seemed off and this debunk video hep prove it.
