Sorry, I've been absent. I lost my internet connection. I finally got back on today. YEAH! :dance:I hope everyone is feeling well; if not here is a hug.

I believe that they can miss the commotion that goes on in our lives. They may love their home and want others to enjoy being there too. Also, they may worry about the health and wellbeing of those who reside there. I know that when I was ill and was alone, one of the residents gave me a gentle squeeze on my elbow to let me know they were there. It was comforting, startling, but comforting none the less.

That is an interesting question and kind of a disconcerting one too.  Do ghosts get lonely?  I have hours of EVP's and ITC recordings from various haunted locations.  I have on several occasions have had voices tell us to "Don't go".  Typically you hear of the angry "Get out", we've had that too but it does show there are possibly ranges of emotion on display.  Which has always bothered me.  I am hoping that some of our human worries don't carry with us to whatever is beyond but so far I am not satisfied that is really the case.  And you don't sound weird at all.  It was an interesting post.  The best to you and your Husband.

I’m a little late to respond to this but I will be the first to say, the characteristics of acoustic attenuation is most interesting. In general terms lower frequencies tend to travel much further than higher frequencies.

An excellent example of this is how elephants communicate to one another over long distances with very low frequency burst or the effect of very low dB has on objects.

An attributing factor of acoustic attenuation is the absorption rate of the wavelength. In many ways sound and light share similar properties. As light is absorbed by dark objects and reflected more prominently with lighter colors, higher frequencies are absorbed by objects and higher densities of air create diffraction dissipating sound.

During dry still air conditions, sound will carry much further. Typically, during the still of winter, sound has its least absorption rate. During hot humid days dissipation limits the travel.

I don’t pretend to be an expert in sound. My main study in the paranormal for the last 10 years has been sound related paranormal phenomena. Unfortunately, with the reflective properties of sound, our ears frequently are fooled as to the origin. Countless times while monitoring in a relatively controlled environment, I’ve made a special effort to track origins and often, the perceived origin have been completely wrong.

To complicate further, EVP (electronic voice phenomena) isn’t truly sound phenomena. It’s actually said to be low levels of EMF exciting the voice coil of a microphone.

Where sound phenomena becomes most curious, is when heard “allegedly” with your ears but fails to be recorded to medium.  I’ve had this happen at least a half dozen times. On one such occasion three of us heard footsteps walk past us, breaking branches and shuffling grass with 2 feet yet it failed to be recorded on 9 analogue/digital voice recorders including video. All that was heard during playback was the 3 of us in synchronicity verbalizing the single word “footsteps”.

It’s difficult to say if your “flute” has paranormal origins. You would need witnesses and audio recordings to validate if it was spontaneous sound phenomena (SSP).

I apologize for the long dissertation. My final words are don’t trust your ears and don’t be surprised if you hear something that fails to be recorded.

Let's apply a little logic. With a little investigation, I was able derive the following airports/skyports/heliports were within 30 miles of the Brooklyn Bridge:

• Teterboro Airport
  
• Lincoln Park Airport
  
• Caven Point USAR Center Heliport
  
• Linden Airport

The furthest, Lincoln Park Airport is under 30 miles *road travel* from the Brooklyn Bridge.

I can't say with absolute assurance it wasn't a man made aircraft. But, there is strong probability it was either a seaplane, a helicopter or an airplane taking into consideration of 8 immediate locations and factoring in the immense number of spider travel paths including landing and take off runways. How can this not be a more than  probable explanation. If an aircraft is coming directly towards you from a distance, it will appear relatively motionless.



Also keep in mind the source of a video being a cellphone. Under night conditions, cellphones have the light gathering characteristics of a blind man looking for a black cat in a pitch dark room. An object to suddenly appear is not unusual. It will take a strong measurement of light to register in an image or video capture. Typical cameras/cellphones do not have the same ability in light gathering as your normal eye. Consider the sensor of a cellphone is close to the size of a pinhead. Below is an image illustrating comparative sensor sizes. I can say with a certain level of assurance the video capture was done with a cellphone and the quality of the capture doesn't give me cause to think differently.



Sorry folks, I cry fake news and yes I believe in the possibility of unexplained flying objects. I've witnessed some strange stuff in my day with no rational explanation.

Found on Facebook. Supposedly taken by a paranormal team at the moment someone died. Claims that it was posted online but hasn't been debunked. Have fun!

Meg Shelton the Fylde Witch or the (Fylde Hag)  died in 1705. It is said she is buried beneath a large boulder in the grounds of St Anne’s Church, Woodplumpton. She was buried in a vertical headfirst position, with the boulder placed on top of her grave to prevent her from digging her way out of the grave.

Locals stated, Meg was mischievous and used her witchy powers to steal from the local community. One of the many stories of Meg had her stealing milk from cows in a field, disguising her jug as a goose. The farmer did not pay much attention to Meg and her goose until he saw milk dripping from the animal’s bill. He approached the goose then gave it a good kick, at which point it transformed back into a jug and shattered, spilling all the milk that Meg had stolen. Infuriated with being caught, Meg flew away.

Meg was said to walk with a pronounced limp which was an injury she obtained whilst in the form of a rabbit. The story relating to this is incident is that she made a bet with her landlord that she could turn into a rabbit and race his dogs from Wesham to the cottage she rented in Catforth. One condition of the bet was the landlord could not release a large fierce black dog that he owned; Meg thought it was too dangerous! The prize for winning the race would be the cottage she rented. The landlord, of course, set his black dog after Meg and it bit into her hind leg just as she got through the cottage door.

Another story had a young girl outwitting Meg whilst the witch was sat in a chair in front of a fire. The girl trapped her in the chair somehow by sticking a bodkin, crossed with two weaver’s healds on her dress

On another occasion, Mag was said to have turned herself into a sack of corn in a farmer’s barn to steal food from him. However, the shrewd farmer, seeing he had one sack too many decided to stab each sack with a pitchfork, just to be sure they were filled with corn. When he stabbed the transformed Meg she let out a scream, returning to her usual appearance and fled.

Meg died by being crushed to death between a barrel and a wall. Then, of course, Meg made two attempts to dig herself from her grave, before locals foiled any further attempts by burying her headfirst in a very narrow shaft and capping the grave off with the large rock. Their rationale: If Meg tried to dig herself out again she would be digging in the wrong direction....Poor Meg it must have worked!

White Star was a subsidiary of the International Mercantile Marine Company, owned by J. P. Morgan (& Co.), and so, the Titanic was owned by Morgan. Morgan had been booked for the maiden voyage but canceled days before the Titanic set sail.
Sure, people change plans, things come up, happens all the time, but, considering some of the circles Morgan and other prominent bankers belong to, and knowing these scoundrels' penchant for engineering disasters, I'd say Morgan knew his ship was on a one-way trip to the ocean floor.

'Informing' means this is not an 'ask' - you're not asking, you're telling certain individuals to leave (by way of stating the rules / by way of laying down the law of the space you control). Mean what you say, say it with focused intent, but remember: there's no need to raise your voice; the power of the words you speak is not measured by how loud you speak them. Powerful people don't need to yell. Powerful people don't need to turn to charms and superstition, or to gadgets, or need to burn a particular incense, or light particular candles etc. If it's your body, it's your body. probably) all saw the image. And when they started to back away, it lifted off of the glass.  The image that you
are seeing is looking in from the outside. The door is an entrance from the back of my mom’s house. The only
things in the backyard are an old shed and a garage.  I didn’t crop the picture but if you like i can have my daughter

One of my first full time jobs in the early 20’s was at a sport store where I was in charge of several different departments depending on the season. The business was growing and several stores were opened in a very short period of time, which required help from employees in neighboring stores.

I became enamored with a fellow employees car, a 1976 Camaro Rally Sport RT. My car was beginning to fall apart and I arranged with a bank for a loan under the condition that I raise half of the value of the car. Back then, you could order cars custom made to your request. I was told by the dealership that it would take approximately 9 weeks after placing an order for its arrival.

I began working a crazy amount of hours to make this car a reality. I would frequently work a full shift of 8-12 hours and then help with a store that was being erected in downtown Toronto. I remember one paycheck I worked 118 hours’ worth of overtime in a two-week period.

This did not allow much of a social life and I barely had one day a week off if I was lucky. I had been dating a sweet oriental woman for several years but my contact thinned and our going out was reduced from a couple of times a week to once a month. I still would phone her but relationships can easily change when you are young. I never really sensed anything was wrong until one evening.

I was invited back to the store I had put in an extraordinary amount of time in my off hours. This was a special event because only a handful of employees were invited to this pre-opening. The owner went all out with shrimp, champagne, delicacies and filet minion in appreciation.

I remember vividly walking up the long spiral marble staircase with a glass of champagne in my hand taking in the festivities and suddenly finding myself stopped in mid stride with a lucid vision that seemed as real as the event I was attending.

I saw my girlfriend taking a call from a prior boyfriend who had not been in the picture for several years and accepting a night out. I saw him picking her up at 7:15PM and taking her to Shoppers World in Brampton to see a movie for 7:30 pm. I saw they were admitted to watch Smokey & the Bandit at the theater. There prolonged separation began with instant rekindling. He dropped her off at 10:30 PM that night after a lengthy talk ending with a parting kiss. The time I experienced this was at 7:00 PM that night.

I shook it off rationalizing it was nothing more than an insecure vision but I tried calling her that night shortly after leaving the store and received no answer. I called the following two evenings without success.

Finally, on the third night I dropped by after work and knocked on her door. I saw her walk towards the door through the window and instantly knew something had changed just by her gait.

She answered and refused to make eye contact. I said, “I’ve been trying to get in touch for the last three nights, is everything okay?” She said, I have something to tell you.

I said you do not have to, I already know. She asks, “What do you mean?” I said, “You went out with Brian three nights ago to the movies at Shoppers World and watched Smokey & the Bandit. He picked you up at 7:15 PM and dropped you off 10:30 PM with a parting kiss.”

She went white and was at a loss of words. Finally, she looked up confused and asked, “How did you know that, my parents didn’t even know that happened?” My partings words were, sometimes you just know things.

There is just way too many details to justify this as merely a coincidence. I am sure some of you are chuckling a little, here is the skeptic who is wiping the pie off his face from a vision he cannot explain.  For what it’s worth, I never had said this could not happen; I just look for rational explanations first. I have others I’ll share at a later date

Thought I would include the picture of my Camaro I worked so hard to buy. The first image was taken 40 years ago by a friend with an expensive SLR. I have just recently done a restoration to it digitally from a scan. The original image is about to fall apart completely.

To answer your question....people can astral project and meet on the astral plane.  Now, do I think it's her that is coming to you at night? No.  You may have drawn in a lonely being from the astral plane and they are pretending to be her.  

Past life connections can be tricky.  She has moved on with her life and is starting a family.  Love her unconditionally and allow her to move on and release her.  Just because you found each other does not mean you are meant to be together in this lifetime.  We travel in soul groups of about 600-700 people.  Honor yor past life/lives and move on, dearest.

If I may....you have not met the love of your life yet even if you think you have.  I am looking at around May of 2018 you have the opportunity to meet somebody brand new.  If you are looking back you cannot look into the future.

Bless this woman and release her to make way for a new love.

First, I am very, very sorry for your loss.  Secondly, you are not going crazy.  You are grieving.  I lost my Wife of 36 years, one year ago this past September.  I've heard my Wife call my name, stroke my head or kiss me while I'm sleeping.  I've woken myself talking to her.  Thought I saw her sitting in her chair on several occasions.  In your current state of mind you can trust none of it.  Just in the last month or two, these type of events have subsided for me.  It might be that acceptance is finally setting in.  You might want to seek grief counseling (I didn't) but you need to work your way through this.  I have continued to do paranormal investigations after the passing of my Wife but will not investigate my own home.  I would do nothing for right now just give it some more time.  Hopefully, these occurrences will end sooner than later for you.  If you get into next year and they are as frequent, I would take EVP's advice and try recordings to see if you can catch her voice on audio or a night vision camera set to run all night while you are sleeping.  If you are like me, your every waking thought right now is of your Wife.  You are being haunted but most likely it is in your head not your home.  I know how you are suffering... I wish you peace of mind.   Hopefully, you will eventually get there. Best regards.

Maureen Anne McKenna, 52 of Halifax passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. Maureen was born in Weymouth on September 11, 1967. She was lifelong resident of Halifax, enjoyed beadwork, paranormal tv shows, computer games, reading, and was a big fan of Meatloaf - she donated a portion of the sales of her beadwork from her online store (SnowRabbit Designs) to his charity foundation, The Painted Turtle.  She was very interested in her Native American heritage and enjoyed attending pow wows and other events.  She was known as SnowRabbit - WautuckquesSochepo in the Natick Algonquin dialect.

Maureen was predeceased by father, John T. McKenna; brother, Wayne E. McKenna and nephew, John P. McKenna. She is survived by her mother Annie E. McKenna (Morales) of Halifax, she was the sister of John T. McKenna and his wife, Kim of Poway, CA, Edward L. McKenna of Plymouth, Ronald L. McKenna and his wife, Teri of Escondido, CA and Margaret A. McKenna of Plymouth. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.

What She Meant To Me:

Although I never met the woman in real-life, we private messaged frequently and I felt a very deep bond with her almost as a sister I never had. She shared her wealth of knowledge in the paranormal balancing both the spiritual and the skeptical side. She was a selfless woman who had my back a number of times and earned a very deep respect by myself.

Final Thoughts:

I’m unsure of why she passed but it was shared that it was unexpectantly sudden. People like this need to be remembered for their genuine compassion. Although I’m deeply mourning her departure, I constantly remind myself that she needs to be celebrated while alive first.

Rest in peace my dear friend Maureen. I will always remember you…..

Most Ghost Hunting apps are just for entertainment purpose, so, with that in mind I feel those girls were doing just that having a bit of fun!

I feel our loved one's are always close and maybe that was what you were experiencing (a loved one). However, it is important to check out anything that could be a medical condition like tinnitus. Our hearing is very important and any changes should be investigated (at any age) just to rule out any problems.  When you say you are seeing orbs and shadows do you mean you are seeing them in real time or in your videos?

As I mentioned when I edited your post, we don't allow "New Members" to post their youtube videos in their "First" post. We find most new members who do; are only looking to direct traffic to their channel and not really interested in being an active member.

I couldn't see anything unusual like orbs or shadows in your video and the charger could have simply fallen from where it was. The chair back seemed to conceal the chargers fall so without you narrating what was happening and picking up the charger to show. I wouldn't have realised it was the charger!

I only heard a bang which could have been anything! The video didn't show anything falling no matter how much I slowed the playback speed!

I also see you are asking your audience in your youtube link to comment if they see anything! Just a tip, if you are hoping people comment that might be hard as the comments are disabled!

What's important is that your attention has been directed towards the light switch and wiring of your home. Generally, when your attention's brought to such matters, it's a good idea to have it checked out. Have the switch and related wiring looked at by someone you trust.

Myself, I'd leave the message up for now as a reminder; a sort of sticky note if you will. You can tell whoever comes to look at it that you were concerned the message might be referring to something which needed fixing that no one ever got around to.
