Umm, I know there are some sites with cemetary listings.  If you can dig up town names, then perhaps they could help.  Unfortunatly, I can't remember them, so perhaps if you check out www.google.ca then type in what you want, perhaps you can dig up some sites.

Good luck,
Mr. Pop

I'm not either but you could perhaps search through cemetaries in Ohio.  I did that and I think I might have found a dear friend a few months ago that I met after they died.

If it was that long ago the census records might have been released and you can check and see if someone by that name was living in Ohio at that time.

But, may I ask, why would the government set fire to a house to scare you out of your home?

That sounds farfetched to me. :-/

Also, how did you come to find out this about your past life?  Was it a dream? Meditation? Hypnosis? Or a third person?

My I suggest that if you think that sounds far-fetched, that you go to your favorite "search engine" and smack in "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" and just read a little about it...

Just a suggestion...

My thought would be a search for Ohio... or perhaps contact a newspaper or two in Ohio.  Search their archives.  I would guess that something like that would HAVE to have received some sort of mention.

If you don't want to tell them the past life part... make up a story about a story your grandmother told you about o freind or something.

The reason I said it sounded farfetched was twofold.
I thought that a) she meant she had been Mexican Indian and cool.gif since it was WWI (which began in 1914) I thought that to be a little late for such practices to be taking place in Ohio.

Most of the forced migration of Native Americans took place in the late 1800s before the turn of the century.
Most of the persecution of Native Americans (by this I mean the forced relocation) that took place after 1900 took place in land west of the Mississippi.

This sounds farfetched to me for these reasons. But I'd be willing to be proved wrong in this area.
