OK so this is more for peer review, another team sent this to me asking for feedback.

Still unsure

I tried to watch it, but the person holding the camera, kept moving it in such a way, that it was making me nauseous, so I had to stop.

Lol, there needs to be a course for paranormal teams to encourage silent vigils. How do you hear/see anything if you continuously talk and are too self absorbed with your own communication. Paranormal investigation should emmerse their routine mostly in observation. I dismissed a team player once for whispering. Yes I'm A-Retentive.

A paranormal team from Boston years ago, adhered to a code of ethic with "no talking permitted throughout the entire investigation" and any events had to be documented strictly on paper and pen. This might seem a little over the top but being an audio guy, I greatly appreciated this methodology. Also, with comparing notes after the investigating there wasn't such a thing an influencing the experience by sharing it verbally when it happened. I'm a huge advocate for the avoidance of "cognitive bias".

Sorry Dave, I didn't make it to the end. The video was vocally too contaminated for me to make a credible assessment.

I had my computer on mute (accidently) while first watching and saw the flash of light. When I read EVP's comments (LOL) I turned my sound on. I now think they are talking about the flash of light... under the stairs.

Klainey, that looks like a reflection from the IR emitter on the pan but the only way to tell would require a revisit at the very least and see if it could be replicated and make an inquiry whether any items might have been moved from under the stairs. I still say the founder should have handed out gags. I would have thrown out the audio personally. To avoid that I instituted a 15 minute controlled audio session once an hour. Expecting noone to talk might as well be solitary confinement but segments controlled by the audio specialist was a happy compromise.

I'm thinking a reflection of IR light from a nail, that is in the exact place where we see the flash of light, later the camera man films from the stairs to the group and you can see the nail in the door frame.

And yes to much talking.
