Yes, I do lean towards this photo being the real deal. Almost every spirit I have seen with my own eyes has looked similar this, has had the same properties. That being said, I can't prove it, but when I see this picture, I believe it's authentic and it just gives me a chill like when seeing an actual spirit first hand.

I Could Write for Hours relating to this photo, In my Opinion THIS is everything the Paranormal community stands for, personally i think this is the real Deal, And i have to Admit that i'm a Skeptic in Many Ways,
in addition this pic shows much more, I shows how People often can't stand the unexplained and how Skeptic's an Believers Both Want this photo on "their" site. i've Seen so much Rubbish Relating to this pic, Like Photoshopped Pictures with Cheaply Edited Bedsheed ghosts to "Prove" that this lady i still haunting the house, And Lot's of Fiddlestick Theory's To Prove this pic "Wrong"  and "Faked" Theory's like a Greased lens which is nonsense, It could be double exposure that's possible, But I've never saw a scientific experiment which where able to re-create this photo exactly.

This photo will never be confirmed to be either fake or reality no matter what evidence one site may dig up, the other site won't believe it, And That's the Reason i Love it so much.
Everyone has his own Reality, And thinks are as Real as you want them to Be.

But After all, Thats only my Opinion!

Here is a possible double exposure for the photo, suggested on another site a few years back.

Kevin, that's what I've always thought, and that a statue of Mary is the source image.
a fairly easy (and by that time already regularly used) dark room effect of layered negatives.

That pic was why I became so interested in ghosts besides my own experiences!  Whether fake or not its classic.

I suspect a double exposure as well, though even Ghost Adventures have shown how relatively easy it is to recreate (even by accident) something similar with a dropped sheet and the right shutter speed.

The double exposure theory doesn't seem likely here. Look at the picture. The face area is just the rail in the background. This pic won't ever be fully proven or disproven, which is sad. It does look like a mist on the staircase. This is why we continue to research.

I really wanted it to be real, but that double exposure image seemed a very good explanation, but still, doesn't disprove the existence of the paranormal.

If I ever saw something like that, I'd freak lol

I love this photo and still do, it's one of many that got me interested in the paranormal, the double exposure was only one theory but not necessarily the right answer.

I find it very interesting and I bet that for any ghost photo there is an object that could be used to show a possible double exposure. I really comes down to the story and credibility of the photographer.
