So I'm thinking of starting a YouTube channel. I've been told many times that I'm a good storytellers, and I'm really into the supernatural. There are some storytellers on there but it's surprisingly not many, especially with women as the narrator. Which ones from the following list do you like? If you want to suggest a name, I'm open but please remember that YouTube has naming policies so I have to be careful (no swear words), and I have to check to make sure it's available. All the ones below I know pass the test with YouTube.

1. Haunted Visions
2. By Candlelight
3. The Ghosts That Haunt (although this won't strictly be a ghost only channel)
4. Tales From The Other Side
5. Shadow Cast
6. Supernatural Occurrences

I was thinking by way of intro...

A voice/show sample might help so the name matches what you intend

Like are you just going to tell stories, or will it be more documentary like OR perhaps a history with added investigative points. Even if it's straight up story telling do you want to leave the listeners scared or uneasy or wrap things up happy or atleast hopeful. It would be good if the name reflected the tone and topics of your show

"Whispers in the Dark" for an uneasy show.
"Dark Conjurings" for a skeery show
"Candle against the Night" for dark but hopeful


Also this is a "channel" name right, it doesn't have to be the same as the "show" name So maybe a name that evokes the tone of what your show will be like "A Dark and Stormy Night" for the channel name and "Candlelight Tales" and your intro could be something like "This is Candlelight Tales on a Dark and Stormy Night"

Seriously go for a name that matches the product

I was thinking intempesta nox (It means "in the dead of night") but it's already taken on google and you need a google account to get a youtube account.

Ooo, I think I got it. Sola Nox. It means either Lonely Night or Alone in the Dead of Night. Make that the channel name, and By Candlelight as the show name. What do you think?
