What do people feel about this capture and is that a floating hand too or just someone in dark clothes standing off to the side? Geez.... I wish the picture was in better focus!

Not sure what to make of the child's head. I would think IF it were a ghost, it would be looking at the woman and not out in space.
And it's appearance is more like a painting or custom Photoshop job than a ghost. I'm not ruling out a real ghost but things just don't seem to point in that direction.

You can tell that the hand is from her boyfriend (Andrew). Part of his hand and most of his body are cut off because he's mostly behind the doorway.
I see several other spooky images but most likely Pareidolia.   --->  I never thought I would ever be caught using the P word.  :D

Cool capture!

I'm more concerned as to why there's a gun in the picture ;) In all seriousness though, it does look like a painting. Probably added in from an image and photoshopped. Just my take.

:) I know what you mean about the gun; I was thinking the same thing when I was writing up the post.

The gun is there because she was photographing the weapons displays in the Tower of London.

To me it looks like a mannequin but I don't know if there are any in the Tower of London.  It could also be a real person since she was on a tour of a very popular tourist attraction in England. It's easy to miss things in backgrounds of photos and since this is also a reflection in glass she probably wasn't aware of who was behind her.

The more I look at the photo the more confused I become. Is the blonde woman the one who supposedly took the photo? If so she doesn't seem to be holding a camera.

The gun is in a glass display, perhaps the "ghost" is just a real person on the other side of the display.

Yes I thought as much about the gun just looked strange hanging there where it is :) ... but beautiful gun. I would say there is a lot of antiques behind reflective glass.

Finally got the story to load without locking up my iPad (all those British tabloids mess up my iPad) anyhow, it's the daughter in the reflection not the woman taking the photo.

I wish we knew what was across from the display. Also would like to know if the display was mounted on the wall or if it was free standing. If it's free standing and glass on all sides it could be someone on the other side.

The "child" does look like a painting, mannequin or drawing of some kind, as said above. Overall it's a bad quality photo, it could even have been inserted into the photo after the fact. The overall poor quality of the photo makes it very easy to hide any photographic hijinks

It looks like they have plenty of protection around the private area of the mannequin.  :o

It's from the 1958 cult classic "Attack of the 50 Ft. Woman"

Here's the trailer:

That's why it looked familiar, I watched it on Creature Feature, when I was a kid.

In my opinion it looks like the face is cloned stamped from a soft brush originating from a graphic editor. First question I'd ask if there were several people who witnessed this phenomena first hand and are they willing to sign a "sworn affidavit". Unfortunately photography has been plagued with doctored imaging since it's first inception in the 1860's with Mumler.

Here's an interesting read about the history of spirit photography.

Actually, that one is small, compared to some armor codpieces I've seen.
