Could this be the ghost of Eva Gray climbing the back stairs of Biddeford City Theater? Paranormal investigators took infrared video footage, which showed what they believe looks like a woman in a period dress on the stairs.

Here's the original, un-enhanced version. I dunno, the railing to the left of the "figure" has distortion on it that matches what could be interpreted as folds in a dress. Could be anything

IMO it's just too difficult to draw a definite conclusion because the image is far too low in resolution. Video stills captures require higher end hardware to render adequately. Thanks for sharing Klainey. Then again I have old eyes :)

The dress seems to have the high collar, mutton sleeves and bustle, which the late Victorian / early Edwardian dresses had. Also, it looks like her hairdo is piled up, like the way women wore it during that period.

Not sure of this one.
The scale is wrong for a person, unless she was about 3 feet tall.
The steps are 7"  high each and she takes up 5 steps, that makes 35" or under 3 feet.

7" is the american standard for a stair step height.

The team say they have also found this strange dude watching them from up in the balcony!

"Here is the other photo from The Biddeford theater .We had just started the investigation .We wanted to acknowledge the photo of Eva first . This man was actually seen first on footage . Now you can debate over this one. Is it a man or is it just some anomaly that looks like a man?. Is it even a man? What kind of outfit is he wearing? We as a team never expected to capture something like this but feel we might as well show you . And there is even more to come"!

Kevin makes a good point.... she's much to small for the steps. But if it was a well dressed little girl, then maybe.

And MacC shows us the period clothes and style at the time. Which seems to match the basic look. So then again, could be a little girl wearing period clothes. Maybe unlikely that it's a girl though but not much else to go with presently.

And EVP makes a valid point also... the resolution is too low to make a definite conclusion.

Here's the empty theater

Thanks Dash... I like that second figure, very cool! Same problem with the poor resolution though.
The place is probably extremely haunted, it just can't be proven in a picture, unfortunately.

They are some interesting photos for sure! I think the woman one is a little too distorted to be definitive, I really like the man on the balcony one. That's pretty clear to me.
It's in the trees, it's coming!

In my humble opinion, while I can certainly 'see' what appears remarkaby to be a lady dressed in Victorian garb, this could well be that I am simply matrixing, making forms that make sense out of random shapes.  She is too small, which is a way puzzles me, given that even though she spans 6 steps, she seems to be about the size of an 8-year-old child.

I am not sure about this one, but I cannot discount it categorically.

Muriel!
