Real or not, this is also my all-time favourite Willard shot. I was really happy to see this thread, I jumped right in here to reply!

First time I saw the pictures, it creeped me right out!

It's a rucksack (aka backpack) i said this at the time but people wouldn't listen, they were convinced it was what they wanted to see ........

i can't see how they thought it would be so strange to see a backpack in a children's library

I can't see WHY anyone would bring a backback into a library! That's utterly nonsense!

It's either a backpack or a toy monkey. Or that is one hairy child with missing legs...

I do love that Gorilla Boy cap, although yeah, it looks more like a fat crow to me.  It freaked me out when I first saw it, too!  =^^=

Reminds me of this old pic I took in my old house that was debunked as being a baseball cap and strap here on ghoststudy

Tripped me out at first, it does look like someone with a beard, smile, and suspenders

Was it later confirmed that there was in fact a baseball cap hanging on a strap in the background or is this simply the consensus of those viewing the photo in the forum?

It wasn't there when I checked but we all agreed it definitely was a cap and strap. Just a good example of pareidolia.

That doesn't look like a backpack to me. The first time I saw this, it terrified me. I actually had a nightmare that night.
