Thanks for the welcomes, much appreciated. A little about me - I'm a 50-odd year old bloke living in Northumberland and Lincolnshire; No, I don't have the ability to be in two places at once, I have two homes because as I work online, I can work from anywhere with an internet connection. I have experienced some unusual things in my time - mostly in my younger days - and am widely known for having an uncanny ability for knowing - however you interpret it - what people are thinking, or what they are about to say. I suspect this has a lot to do with the fact I am considerably deaf, and some sort of 'sixth sense' is inherent. I wouldn't call myself a die-hard believer in ghosts as such, at least not as in them being 'spirits of the dead', but I have seen and experienced too much to dismiss the fact that there is 'something' that is beyond our understanding. I also have an interest in UFO's but have, over the decades, gone from being a devout believer in spaceships from other planets, to concluding that there is so little evidence to back this up the likelihood is that these unidentified craft - in the instances where they are such - are home-grown. Incidentally, my first post on here was the photo with the mist in the abandoned reservoir, and I was pleasantly surprised to see suggestions of an earthly nature, as well as others, which is the mix I like to see. On one UFO site I frequent, I was recently labelled the 'resident buffoon' by one contributor who also demanded I be banned for the site because I am, and I quote, 'always suggesting rational explanations'. Well, yes, a light in the sky could be one of many, many things, and dark mysterious craft with red and green navigation lights are clearly adhering to our legal requirements, and - believe me - slowly moving orange orbs are most likely Chinese lanterns, and so on. I look forward to much reasoned conversation on here - now all I have to do is find the time to go through the site. Regards!
