I'm truly sorry about the weird.  Grief can ignite the unknown.  I often think that it is because death leaves us between this world and whatever follows.  I like to think that getting it out of your system is a part of the healing process.  Glad that you are here and started a blog!!

Thanks Kristin. I know a photographer that is performing a one mile walk along the same path for the next year and taking one image that is unique and different unlike any of her images. Photography has opened my eyes to see light and beauty others pass by blindly. I once had the power to see but now I have vision.

Our backyard during a heavy rain. Posted Image

And this is from where I grew up.

No, I didn't grow up on a farm, I grew up in a town. This is nearby.

The above image look like the scenery you would expect to see in Manitoba & Saskatchewan in Canada. I traveled several times across to BC during the summer on motorcycle trips back in the 80's. Thanks for sharing a glimpse into your past visually.

EVP, your photo captures are amazing. And that flower is like the most magnificent capture of a rose I have ever seen in my life... and I really mean that.

Thank you for a such a rare treat in this early morning hour (3:00 am).

If you two give me your screen resolution, I will turn it into proper wallpaper. I don't know how successful I will be because the image was shot in portrait mode instead of landscape. In other words I turned the camera on its side to frame the image before making shot. Screen rsolution for monitors typically use 16:9/16:10 or the old CRT's use 4:3. The ratio here is reversed.

Go here to find your screen resolution & paste it in this thread

https://www.whatismy...resolution.com/

My images are openly shared on Flickr. I just have 100 of my best posted on the site. You can either use the following link or access my profile here on PS.at the bottom of the page under website.

Thank you for liking my images. I'm very passionate about my work. I've been very lucky to be noticed on Flickr. The rose image garnished 22,000 views in one day after uploading.

That is really pretty Mac. I suspect that was taken in the spring which is one of my favorite times to photograph. Spring blooming is fleeting but IMO New England turns into a fantasy world for a week that is unsurpassed.
